Don't Go- Midna x Link

(Chapter 5) Defined

⠀⠀⠀⠀There was still much to do before the final fight with Ganon. Among those things were Link getting rest, and to recover from the battle with the now deceased Zant.

(Link's POV)

⠀⠀⠀⠀I slept for quite some time after the crime scene Zant caused on my body and face. I literally looked like I was in an accident.. and sleeping it off obviously did not fucking work. When I woke up, Midna was at my bed-side, so I felt slightly better just knowing she was there. I opened my eyes, to which she noticed very quickly and darted to lay beside me.

"How are you feeling, hero of twilight?" she teased.

I laughed nonchalantly and glared at her for some time. The room was shortly filled with silence. She broke it though, and of course, in a way that caught my attention in the absolute WORST way.

"So... Are we defined... Or...?"

'Defined?! I don't even know how to answer this! I've never been in a relationship, and I don't want things to get weird. WHAT IS THIS?!?' My thoughts screamed.

"D-de-defined?" I stuttered.

Midna: You know exactly what I mean. Don't play dumb, Link. What are we?

Link: What do you want us to be?...

'I'm so fucking nervous. What. Even.'
"I mean.... Well.... "

Midna: Shh. Nevermind. You don't need to explain. I think we both want the same thing.

'WAIT, WHAT?!' I felt like I just died.

(Normal POV)

⠀⠀⠀⠀Feelings have been established, and Midna and Link were defined. With all of the internal pain from holding it in for so long, emotions were now out of the way. They could now focus on the task at hand.

I am extremely sorry for how short this chapter was! I promise, I'll make these last 2 or 3 longer and better! I just couldn't do much else with this one before Ganon. Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying this so far. Next one will be up real soon <3
