Don't Go- Midna x Link

(Chapter 6) Death March

(Link's POV)

⠀⠀⠀⠀To be completely honest, I didn't think I was ready to face Hyrule Castle yet, let alone Ganon himself. But if we're being serious, this kingdom does nothing for itself so I'm always the one that pretty much is expected to 'fight off evil' in all its forms. But what can you do, you know? Anyway, I picked up some health potions and things of that nature and then Midna and I warped over to Hyrule Castle. After going through the usual dungeon-like system Ganon seemed to assemble in all of these places, we saw it, the very thing. No not Ganon, but something equally terrifying. Zelda? Wait, no... Not Zelda. Some... Anti version of Zelda... Her glowing amber eyes stared back at me. I could have sworn she was preaching murder. Just then, someone all too familiar swooped out from around the darkest of corners. Ganondorf. He stood there chuckling as Zelda started to walk towards me ever so slowly and in a threatening manner. The King of Evil Spoke.

" Foolish Link. Do you ever stop to think? (I JUST REALIZED THIS RHYMED HAHA, I'm making a rap now... It has been decided.) Your princess here is my puppet, after you've taken your good old time 'saving Hyrule' fooling around. You go no further!"

Midna felt a sense of jealousy at the use of the pronoun, your. Even then, Midna also knew Zelda was a threat at this point, and she threw the first punch. (By Pierce the Veil) Zelda, a little more vicious this time around, dove at Midna with an extended blade. I pushed Midna out of the way and quickly counterattacked. Zelda then summoned a triangle upon the floor. I watched it for a moment until I began to see it materialize. I rolled to the side to avoid being hurt, but it wasn't long before I had to recover because her majesty wanted to play some ping-pong. She shot a light orb at me, to which I rebound it back to ganondorf and it eventually, hit Zelda. With Zelda down, the Gerudo king transformed into a beast, namely, his Ganon form.  Without a moment's hesistation, he charged right at me and then around the arena's perimeter. Much to mysurprise, he vanished. Oh, cool he's gone! I win then? Ha. Nope. He reappeared on top of me, his shadow hovering over me. But he teleported back into the arena, what? I was so confused on what to do next. My thoughts, however, were at this moment cut off from several clones of Ganon present just to throw me off, but this pattern was all too easy for me as it was reminiscent of one of my previous battles with Phantom Ganon. I stood at the edge of the room, bow and arrow ready. I inspected the interior of the portals surrounding me, seeking the one he would emerge from. Sure enough, the blue glow gave away his location, and I shot him in the face. Ouch. Sorry not sorry. The beast was knocked to his side, and I slashed at his vulnerable spot. After a few hits, Ganon attempted a new trick, and certainly not one I'd have ever taken up before. As I tried to fire another arrow, I noticed Ganon vanished every time, which infuriated me. Seeing no other choice, I transformed into my wolf form and pounced directly out the portal he came from. Not caring how head on and dangerous this was, I wrestled him to the ground and attacked him several times while we was down. What do you know? It worked! Beast against beast isn't such a bad strategy after all.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Ganon returned to his original form, and I was then challenged to my first ever horseback fight against this guy. Luckily, I had the assistance of all the light spirits on my side. Furthermore, I had Zelda now that sense was, literally, knocked into her. Zelda and I, seated upon Epona, worked to keep up with him. Zelda show a light arrow to stun him for a few moments, as I went in for the kill. It really didn't take him long to fall from his mount, as he was already in a weakened state.

⠀⠀⠀But it wasn't over yet, there was still one final match. This time, Ganondorf wanted to make it personal. Oh yeah, a good old fashioned sword battle to the death. I'll spare the details since I slashed in up with my back slice pretty bad and it got pretty gory, but let me just say...Sword Art is my forte, and you'd have to have balls to challenge me in that way.

I know it was only like a week or two, but it feels like forever since I've updated this! I made sure I extended this chapter longer than usual for you guys, I know they've been really short. Lots of battle stuff here, and you all know what happens from the game... Our favorite character soon leaves. ): Prepare for the feels though, because it's going to be harder for Link than it is for us.
