A Strange Kind of Love Chapter 7- I'm Bound to Get You!

Kagome woke up and saw a ceiling. She instantly sat up and looked around. There she found that she was back in Kaede's hut with the rest of her friends and family where they were sound asleep. On one side of the room was Sango and Miroku snuggled close with Kirara right above them. Then she looked some more and found that her little Shippo was curled up into a ball dreaming happy dreams. She then realized that when she was awake that she had been with Sesshomaru so where is he? She then figured that he probably went back to his camp site to watch over Rin. When Kagome looked out of the hut she found that it was just about time for dawn to come over. So Kagome grabbed her things and went out to the forest to take a bath in the hot spring.

When she was done at the hot spring she was walking back to the village enjoying the peace and quiet. She let her mind wander a little thinking of how she came to this day that she was with Sesshomaru. How she became an amazing fighter. How she still needed to get revenge on Inuyasha and Kikyo. Her eyes hardened at that. If Goku hadn't showed up she would have already had her revenge. She still had the fact that she had to hunt the two down because they escaped on her. Then she wonder how long she was asleep. By this time Kagome had just reached the hut and went inside.

When she entered she found that everyone was wide awake and happy. They all turned to Kagome and were now in even higher spirits. Sango said," Good morning Kagome! I heard from Sesshomaru that you had quite the fight." Kagome said," Yea I sure did." Then Shippo piped," Daddy said that you beat that demon good!" Kagome had an amused look on her face and said," He did now?" Shippo piped," Yep! But then daddy had to leave to watch Rin. But he said that he would come back later today." Kagome replied," Oh okay well that's fine." Miroku being the pervert he is said," I noticed that when he talked about your fight he seemed to be very proud of you. But I also noticed that he wouldn't stop raving on how amazing you looked when you were fighting." By then Kagome got at what Miroku was hinting at. It was the fact that Sesshomaru was watching her every movement. Kagome's face was beet red from embarrassment. Sango getting the hint too now hit the pervert monk on the head saying," You baka! Don't be like that with Kagome! Learn some respect!" Shippo confused asked," Mama what are you guys talking about?" Kagome's face turned into a deeper shade of red, she nervously laughed, sweat dropped, and said," You'll understand when your older honey. heh heh. This is grown up stuff you wouldn't understand." Shippo returned to his normal carefree child self and said," Okay mommy."

After a while of helping out at the village Kagome felt Sesshomaru's presences and decided to go look for him. When she saw him come out of Kaede's hut she ran to greet him. When she finally reached him she glomped him into a hug. She looked up at him and said," I missed you this morning." Sesshomaru said," I missed you too." Kagome smiled and gave Sesshomaru a peck on his cheek then started to walk toward the other parts of the village. Of course Sesshomaru followed walking right next to Kagome and he entwined their hands as they walked. The two of them spent some much needed time together talking and the like. Kagome said," So I heard that you were raving about me." Sesshomaru looked at Kagome amused and said," Yes I have. I was very proud of you." Kagome once again gave Sesshomaru a peck on the cheek and then said," Thanks honey." They continued to walk in the village when Kagome jumped remembering a question she was going to ask Sesshomaru. The sudden action startled Sesshomaru making him jump a little himself. Kagome felt this and giggled a little and saying," Sorry honey didn't mean to make you jump like that I just remembered something I wanted to ask you." Sesshomaru just said very unamused," Hn. what's the question?" Kagome giggled a little bit more then said," I was wondering how long I was asleep from when I fought Goku." Sesshomaru made a look of disgust at the mention of Goku but answered none the less saying," You were asleep for a whole day after the battle." Kagome was surprised and she said," Really?" Sesshomaru gave her one of his most famous quotes," Hn" Kagome still surprised said," Wow I must have been really exhausted then."

Kagome finally getting over her surprise tugged on Sesshomaru's hand and led him to a tree where they ended up sitting under. Kagome pouting said," I still never got my revenge yet." Sesshomaru said," You really want it over with don't you?" Kagome said still pouting," Yea. But the problem is that I don't know where to find them. I had them right where I wanted them. Then the baka Goku showed up and messed everything up." Kagome had the "great" idea of turning to Sesshomaru and giving him the best puppy eyed look she could muster and asking in a innocent voice," Sesshy can you sniff them out for me?" Sesshomaru looked at Kagome with a very amused look on his face. But that puppy face was pretty good and he was trying to stay strong from giving into that adorable look on her face. He said one word because he was having a hard time refusing her request," No." Kagome pouted and pleaded," Aw come on pretty please!?" Sesshomaru thought," She so stubborn she still has that adorable, stupid puppy face I can't refuse. Ugh I can't do it! I can't refuse!" Sesshomaru sighed. He then said after a few moments," Follow me." Kagome's face brightened up . She then got up to her feet and followed Sesshomaru to where he could smell Inuyasha and Kikyo.

After a few moments Sesshomaru stopped and said," I can't go any further because it will ruin the surprise for the half breed and his clay pot. They are in that second hut over by that tall tree in the east. I must take my leave I will see you soon Kagome." And with that he kissed Kagome good bye and left. Kagome then started to walk in the direction that Sesshomaru gave her. She had sealed her aura and scent so they couldn't detect her presence. She then walked up to the hut and knocked on the wall. Kagome then got her twin katanas out and waited for Kikyo or Inuyasha to answer the door. Finally Kagome could feel a presence coming to the door when she probed a little more she found that it was Kikyo's aura. Kikyo had lifted up the flap to the front of the house and was about to say something when she saw it was Kagome She had a look of horror on her face. She was frozen in her spot in total and complete fear and horror. Kagome smiled and said," Kikyo how nice to see you. Hows life going for you?" A gruff voice yelled," Kikyo who's at the door?!" There was no reply. The person other known as Inuyasha came up to where Kikyo was and he said," Oi Kikyo! Who's at the-" He never finished because when he saw who it was he was in horror too. All you could hear him say is," Oh crap. She found us."
