Chapter 31

JESSES POV

I looked at my lifeless mates body and I started to cry on her. I hated feeling so weak but the news I got about her made me want to die. My friend James ( Pack doctor) told me that she might not wake back up ever. She had lost to much blood and she technically died but I got her back to the Pack house and they got her heart started again. I have been so worried about my pack but my father insist that I stay by Sirenas side. A doctor checks on her every hour and they all give me the same look but my would wont let her go, I wont let her go. I got up and I grabbed her hand and I thought about the name she called when Robert died. Cordelia!

" Cordelia, Help me please" I screamed and a bright light appeared. I watched as a woman stepped out of the light. I looked her over and seen similarity's between Her and Sirena.

" Why have you called me here" She asked

" Help me" I said looking at Sirena

" I cant" She said looking at the ground

" Why?" I asked

" This is her fault. If she would have listened to you then none of this would have happened" She said

" I needed to trust her. She fought her own battle and won" I growled

" She lost" Pointing at her body

" I need my mate" I said

" Im sorry"

" Sorry... Sorry. She is apart of you. She dies and you die. You are nothing" I yelled

" I am everything. I am power" She said

" Power... right. Im going to lose her" I said in a whisper

" If I help her then she will not learn"

" No she wont. She will fight for what she loves and put herself in danger but I will be there for her. I will protect her with everything in me" I said begging with my eyes

" I will hold you to that" She smiled and walked over to Sirenas body. She looked at her and closed her eyes. She lifted up her hands and white lights appeared out of them and she placed them on Sirenas body. I watched as the light spread through Sirenas body and she started to float up in the air. I looked at Cordelia and her eyes were white and it made me wonder if Sirena will be this powerful. Cordelia stepped back and Sirena layed back on the bed and Cordelia looked at me.

" She will awake in a couple hours" She said

" Why did you help me" I asked

" Honestly. I don't know but I know what you said is true. You will keep her safe" She said and then the bright light appeared and Cordelia was gone. I sat next t my mate and I layed my head on the edge of her bed and I closed my eyes. I will wait for my mate to awake before I think about getting rest. I relaxed my head for a while when I felt her hand move and I jumped up in happiness. I watched as her eyes fluttered open and closed again " Thank god" I said. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times ad then she fully opened them. Her eyes landed on me and she sat up quickly but made a grunting noise.

 "Be careful Sirena" I said walking up to her and hugging her tightly

" I thought I was going to die" She said clinging to my body

 " I would never let that happen" I kissed her forehead

" I want to see Robbie" She said as tears came down her face

" See the doctor first then you can have visitors" I said and she nodded her head. I got up and walked out of her room and found the doctor. " James come to her room" I ordered and he just nodded and walked to her room with me right next to him. I opened the door and he just looked at her moving body.
