Before the show in Australia and Japan, the family holidays were coming, the band returned to New Jersey. A lot of private events were on the list for Jon , several private parties for the White House  and most importantly, the premiere of "Love in New Jersey." That event was actually the most important ,it was Jon's first movie and with me. We were both on the red carpet, Jon wore a turquoise tuxedo that matched his beautiful baby blues  and I wore a  tight cotton  white dress above my knees. There were many Bon Jovi fans at the premiere. They made the line a day before just to watch the movie and get to see us.

They were all screaming, crying, and  sighing as we kissed on the red carpet while the photographers flashes blinded us. Then , the coming week ,we had a private  event at the White House . I had to dress more formally  than I used to  and Jon was dressed in a black  tuxedo ,so close as the one he wore for our wedding in Graceland and with a tie. Jon had the brilliant  idea of doing a show in Red Bank for children in poor families  at Christmas and asked  people in his neighborhood to donate toys. I was so  proud of him, besides being a talented dedicated  musician and songwriter  , he had a heart of gold. I could not be happier with such a great husband.

Those days we spent  time between laying low at Jon's place  and dining with The Bongiovi's on Sundays, at his childhood house  in Sayreville where he grew up with his  two brothers. Jon avoided talking about Richie with his parents and asked me not to mention anything about it with his mom . Jon and Richie only got to meet for rehearsal  for the Christmas local  concert  at Richie's parents house , but lately they did not  fit in ,not even  when it came to songwriting. Jon said "White" while Richie said "Black". I knew that  was hurting Jon . Richie  was his best friend.

When Jon had calmed down a bit about his personal issues with Richie, he gave me an unexpected surprise. He drove me to a private quiet residential area in Rumson , on a street with a very nice neighborhood , so clean and fancy, full of trees. It was like a residential area where many local musicians  lived ,including Bruce Springsteen . He stopped  the car at a corner  and blindfolded me.He grabbed my hand and helped me out to step out of the car .He made me walk a few steps, all  blindfolded and watching my step cautiously. I  just followed his directions giggling and without having a clue what he was up to.What did he really want to show me? .

"Now , are you ready Princess?" he said -uncovering my  my eyes.

In front of my eyes was a beautiful French style Chateau house with a Victorian style building. It was so beautiful , a mini mansion.

"Wow, what about this?" I said in shock
"This is our house, baby" Jon said with a smile.

I took a deep breath and eyes were filled with tears of joy . I felt like a princess with her prince and his castle. We sat there on the lawn, I kissed Jon and we made out passionately  until we both were out of  breath.I told Jon how happy I was with him.
"So this will be our nest of love from now on," he said as he kissed my forehead.

Tears started running down my face and I  held him tight. I could not be happier with Jon. That was the house of my dreams and he was  the man of my dreams  that I never thought I'd find. All those things  only existed  in my  childhood dreams.

Jon  grabbed the key and opened our house .It was huge inside. It had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. And a very large living room. It  consisted of 3 floors.Outside The Chateau looked small, but it was huge. The third level upstairs,  it  was just a recording studio. Obviously, it was for Jon to work  there on his upcoming solo projects. He had the idea to start a  solo project soon after the tour.
Jon had not only purchased that house for us , but another mansion for his parents and siblings. It was the Christmas present  anticipated as the tour was meant to be  continued for a few more  months . Jon had a wonderful idea. Putting his childhood home in Sayreville for a  draw for fans at MTV. A fan  couple won the house and his parents moved to the new mansion  that he bought for them.
In our mansion, we spent  Thanksgiving  with the Bongiovi's and  for the rest of the days we drove to New York to  do some shopping for home decorations. While  Jon was in charge of decorating his home studio ,I was the one who decided on  the rest, furniture, curtains, colors, quilts, and carpets. By Christmas, everything was all set and looked so stunning as expected.. We were more than happy together and with a new house.
On December 23rd,it  was the Christmas show in Red Bank, NJ to benefit poor children so they could pick  some toys. Many fans came  to the venue and donated toys. It was a big  success. I really enjoyed the concert. The rage  with Richie was unnoticed. Jon knew well  how to hide it. The two sang the cover: "The boys are back in town" and the same songs they did together on tour with a special   guest , the local New Jersey guy, Southside Johnny. Jon was more gorgeous  than ever, with his torn washed out  jeans, white opened  shirt, and a pink  electric guitar . At the end, they played Christmas songs and one that touched my heart was: "The little drummer boy". I was so moved because it was one of my favorite songs that  my parents  used to play at Christmas when I  was  just a little girl. As I listened to Jon and Richie sing that beautiful song , something came up on  my mind. But I would not  tell Jon yet  until the night of Christmas eve, once we got to be  on our own and not around   his parents and siblings.I've never felt so smitten and happy. My heart was about to burst.
