My anxiety is horrible when we pull up in Channing's truck with the kids.

The sun is down and there's a fire lit.

"Let's just go home." I say.

He turns to me.

"I mean, everyone knows I'm here. Remember we were voted as most likely to get married? Come on baby. Let's just join the party. If you still wanna leave after, we can."

"Okay." I sigh.

He shuts the engine off and opens the door.

I can already hear people screaming his name.

There's no disguising Channing's truck.

He hops out and shuts the door.

I get out too.

He opens the back door and climbs onto the foot rail.

I do the same thing.

CHANNING'S POV

A lot of people at the party are cheering because they see me.

I know Cam is really nervous.

I open the back door and climb onto the footrail.

I unbuckle Ethan.

"Daddy, how will I get around on my leg?" He asks.

Cam is getting out Max.

"The same way you normally do buddy, with your crutches."

I help him out of the truck. And hold him as I get his crutches.

I stand him up and hand them to him, fixing his shirt.

Everyone is flipping shit.

People are like "Channing has a son?"

And then it's, "well, who's the mother?"

I help out Alex next.

She runs for the street.

"Alexandria Elizabeth!" I stop her. "Do not walk into that street without holding somebody's hand."

They're freaking out even more.

Cam walks around the front of the car, balancing Max on her hip.

"Diaper bag?" I ask her.

"Uh..." She hands me Max and climbs up the footrail.

Everyone is screaming crazily now.

I mean, we did get married, and we've got three kids.

She grabs the diaper bag and gets down, ducking her head as she shuts the door.

"Alex, come here honey." She holds her hand out for our daughter.

Alex skips over to her and grabs her hand.

She looks at me. I kiss her forehead.

"You won't have to leave my side, not even once." I whisper.

She nods.

I look for cars and walk closely behind Ethan as he crutches across the street.

Cam grabs my hand and follows behind me, holding onto Alex.

People start greeting us and talking to the kids. Alex is shy and she always has been. She clings to Cam's leg, hiding her face. Cam picks her up.
