CHANNING'S POV
I come back downstairs with the rings, and Cam has a weird look on her face.
"What?" I ask. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." she says, allowing me to slide the rings on her left hand ring finger.
"Cam." I sigh.
"I'm okay." She smiles and squeezes my hand. "I promise."
I'm still weary, but I back off and let her finish what she's doing. She lets the kids help.
"So what have I missed?" she asks.
"I have a boyfriend." Annabell says.
"Really? What's his name?"
"Andrew." She says.
"He's really nice." Aaron asks.
"You guys met him?" she asks.
Everyone nos.
"I approve." I pitch in.
"Okay. I'm gonna have to meet him. What else?"
"Well, I have a best friend." Aaron says.
"Really?" Cam asks.
"Yeah. His name is Ace."
"He's pretty funny." Channing says.
"Okay, I'm gonna have to meet him, too."
"And..."
We all know Cam is going to react the worst to him having a girlfriend.
Cam is protective.
Aaron didn't even want to tell her, but I told him if he didn't, I would.
Cam looks up at his hesitation.
"What?" she asks.
He takes a deep breath.
"Well, there's this girl..."
Silence.
"And you're dating her?" Cam asks.
He exhales slowly. "Yeah."
Fuck, Mrs. Armstrong reacted better than Cam is going to.
She's quiet for a really long time.
"What's her name?" she asks.
"Olivia." He says.
"Olivia what?"
"Olivia Nole."
She nods slowly, thinking.
"How old is she?"
"Seventeen. She's a senior. I am too, actually. I'm graduating early."
Aaron is eighteen.
"How many guys has she had before you?" Cam asks.
"None." He says.
"And have you kissed her yet?"
Aaron's face turns red.
"No."
"You're lying." Cam narrows her eyes. "Have you slept with her?"
"No!"
"Cam," I sigh.
"I just wanna know." She says.
"I've kissed her. That's it."
"Makeout?"
