CAM'S POV

It's been three days.

I'm miserable, but I'm forcing myself to keep going for the kids.

The second they turn their backs though, I cry.

Every time I get free time, I stare out the window. Aaron started school.

I haven't sung or done anything with music in a long time, in like...eleven years or something, but I find myself writing song lyrics.

His name is tattooed under my right breast.

There's one line in my song that I love.

And love, if your wings are broken, please take mine so yours can open too, cause I'm gonna stand by you.

And then there's one.

Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through hell with you. Love you're not alone.

I keep looking at my phone, expecting a message from him, but I can't take it.

I'm shaking.

I pick my phone up, and I type a quick message.

I can't do this anymore.

I send it to him, and hurl it at the ground.

It's my shitty ass iPhone 4.

It breaks right into three parts.

"Cam, sweetheart," Dad whispers.

I lay down on the window seat the put my arm over my eyes.

I can't do this anymore.

I can't.

KATHRYN'S POV

Everyone is having issues sleeping, and we have been.

"I'm worried." Mrs. Armstrong whispers.

It's three thirty in the morning, and Cam fell asleep around eleven.

I put a blanket over her.

I didn't know what else to do.

Matt tried to move her to her bed, but she woke up in tears and said the bed was way too big for one person.

Everyone is still awake except for Katie, Mason, Alex, Ethan, Max, and Cam.

Channing's aunt and uncle and cousin Charlie are here too, and so is his grandparents.

"Guys, we gotta-"

I cut off when I hear the faint sound of a loud engine.

Everyone's heads snap up.

Nobody moves.

I'm holding my breath.

I hear the engine stop.

I look at Cam.

She's sleeping, but she's shivering in her sleep.

It's snowing outside.

I hear keys jingling in the door.

I fight crying when Channing comes rushing into the living room.

He looks really...

Depressed.

He looks really unhealthy.

"Where's Cam?" he asks loudly.

Everyone looks at the window.

He whips around.

She's still sleeping.
