Lels we got roasted by the Juniors during songfest today
Also got 5th place out of five but tbh it's nbd
I was honestly just confused about why we got roasted??? Like they said 'we were good at stealing their songs' but I had no idea what they were talking about because they were using totally different songs from us. Apparently it was themes or something- The Radio and Fresh(men) Hits. The weird thing was that we were supposed to change our theme to something more specific from 'Today's Hits' so we got Freshmen Hits.
Then our moderator and some students went to take it up with the principal too and I was like... 'I don't want to get involved k'
And we were apparently supposed to vote on our Songfest theme but that didn't happen so... Also the boys forfeited Boy's Cheer...
The rookies thought they bashed us but they really roasted themselves by doing some Star Wars songs. Anakin burned on Mustafar.
(Bonus: Their props were amazing. They had Chewbacca, Yoda and this giant Jar Jar making the rock symbol out of cardboard and an inflatable R2-D2. I was so proud. On the other hand, they sang Little Einsteins...)
(Also it was funny because they roasted everyone else except for us in one part, probably because the song tune didn't allow it lol)
