i know that you're done with me like i am with you
but what do i do after this?
do i go out and find someone new?
after every heartbreak is a null
a time of uncertainty for a wounded heart
where a shard of glass is stuck in between the wedges
slowly widening the cracks,
creating wide chasms deeper than the ocean
colors overpowered by negative space
what used to pump red is now slick black
while you're out there being yellow
i'm left here alone with an anchor weighing me down
i guess you've always been waiting for me to drown
