(Stay) Chapter Six - "daddy?"
Elena's POV
-One Week Later-
"Push me higher, mommy!" Elizabeth giggled, kicking her legs back and forth.
My phone began to buz in my pocket, "I'll be just a second, Lizzie." I told her and walked a few steps away from her to answer the phone.
"Hey mom." I answered.
"Did you think about what I talked to you about?" She asked.
I looked over at Elizabeth in the swing then I focused my attention back to the conversation.
"Yes mom..." I sighed.
"Well what are you gonna do about it, sweetie?" She asked.
"Honestly?" I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand and looked down at my shoes, "I don't know.."
"Daddy?" I heard a little voice call out, I spun around quickly.
"I'll call you later, mom." I said and hung up.
"Hey baby girl." Calum said as he walked up to the swing.
I felt as if I was stuck in my spot.
"Want me to push you?" He asked, a huge grin grew onto Lizzie's face and she nodded.
He stood behind her and pushed her lightly.
"Higher!" She clapped.
He chuckled and began to push higher.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I walked up to them, leaning against the pole of the swing set.
"Your mom told me where you were."
He said.
"Course she did." I mumbled. It was beginning to get dark out.
"I like this, mommy." Elizabeth said as she jumped down from the swing.
"Like what, Lizzie?" I crouched down besides her.
"I like having you and daddy here with me." She said looking up at Calum. "We're a family!" She smiled widely.
I glanced over at Calum then back at Elizabeth. I smiled at her and tucked a loose hair behind her ear.
"Uh, why don't we go get ice cream and head home?" I asked her, she cheered.
"Can daddy come too?" She asked looking up at Calum.
Calum crouched down besides her and placed a hand on her back. "If mommy says I can go." He smiled and looked over at me.
I furrowed my eyebrows for a second. Lizzie ran over to me grabbing my hand.
"Please mommy! Please!" She begged.
I huffed, "Fine." Lizzie clapped and grabbed Calum's hand pulling him towards our car.
Calum got into the back seat with Lizzie, buckling her into her car seat.
We drove off, the radio to filled the silence.

"What do you wanna get, sweetie?" I asked towards Elizabeth.
"Pink ice cream!" She pointed at the strawberry ice cream through the glass.
"One strawberry cone, please." I told the lady behind the counter.
"That'll be three dollars." She said.
I went to grab my wallet but before I could Calum had already handed her the money.
"You didn't have to do that," I told him.
"It's fine, I wanted to." He said shrugging.
"Oh well uh, thanks?" It came out like a question. He just smiled to himself and crouched down next to Lizzie.
"Here you go, Lizard." He poked her nose and handed her the ice cream.
"Lizard?" I chuckled.
He looked up at me and smiled, "I thought it was a cute nickname."
We went and sat down at one of the booths in the back, Calum sat across from Lizzie and I and the table.
"Is it good, Lizzie?" I asked looked down at her.
She nodded, having mouth full of ice cream.
Calum pulled out his phone, "Smile, Lizard." He said.
She had ice cream around her lips, on her nose and on her cheeks. I laughed and lifted a napkin up to her face and she giggled.
Calum snapped the photo and placed it back into his pocket laughing.
Calum looked over at me smiling, I looked over at him then back at Lizzie.
"What?" I chuckled.
"I like this too." He said and placed his hand on top of mine. I slipped it out from under his and placed it on my lap.
"You're Elizabeth's dad. Nothing else." I simply told him. I don't even know if I have feelings for Zayn let alone the father of my child.
"I'm sorry, El...I know that's how it will be.." He said.
It sounded as if he mumbled "For now". I ignored it, it was probably my imagination? I honestly don't want to find out..
