Just my luck

Chapter one

Vanessa's pov:

I just moved to here to Florida from South Dakota after searching there for my brother. Our family in a way were running from our old pack. Since my brother got into some trouble with them we thought it would be best if we looked for him and avoided them to stay safe. When we found out the town in Florida that we were moving to had a pack of their own there that just sealed the deal. Plus after my dad talked to the alpha over the phone we got arrangements to stay at the pack house and since we will be living there for a little while the alpha decided to introduce us to rest of the pack at a small get together. Though I say small I mean the complete opposite because all the members of the pack that live in that town will be there and I will have to be seen by everyone.

In order to get ready for tonight's "little" get to together, me and my sister Jennifer are going to go shopping. Being the toughest of four was not easy, I only had one sister. Out oldest brother was the one who got into the trouble. My other brother was always stuck with us girls so he never really enjoyed hanging out but when it came to boys and boyfriend drama he was always right there to make sure he was good enough to date me. He never worried about my sister though because they were twins so he never felt he had to worry about her.

As I as unpacking my clothes and putting them into my new walk in closet someone knocked lightly on the door and came in.

"Essa you ready to go yet?" It was my sister.

"Yeah in a minute." I answered politely. I knew my sister was always quiet so I was always genuinely nice to her because none of us knew what would happen if she were to get mad.

"Alright well we are going to go out to dinner before we go shopping. because dinner here won't be ready for another hour" she replied hoping it was ok with me.

"Sounds great I'll be down in a minute." I answered excitedly with a smile. It was going to be my first night in this town, and being with my sister will make all the more better. I've always wanted to live in Florida and my sister being my best friend made everything better when I am with her.

After finishing unpacking my clothes, I put on my shoes with the "hidden" wedge heels and went down stairs. I spotted my sister and we headed out in her car. The pack house was in the woods so it would be a slightly long drive to town and we weren't in any rush it was only three o'clock and me and my sister enjoyed all of our little rides. We talked, sang to what ever played on the radio and looked st all of out surroundings. Which this time wasn't much because most of it was just forest. After a while my favorite song came on it was heaven sent by Keyshia Cole I couldn't help but turn it up and sing to it, my sister looked at me in amazement and I couldn't help but ask her what was wrong.

"Do I have something on my face or something?" I asked sounding nervous.

"No you don't your voice is just so beautiful when you sing so don't stop on my account." she smiled and nodded as if telling me to continue. I began singing again when noticed we were in the town and my sister was looking for a place to take us to eat when I pointed out a pizza place she turned into the parking lot and parked her car.

When we got out of the a few guys had just started walking out of the pizza place. My sister and I began to walk to the door,and when we passed the boys on our way in we couldn't help but hear a few whistles and comments. Of course being a werewolf we were already very beautiful, but having the super abilities we heard every word they whispered amongst themselves.

One said "Damn you know I'd hit that"

Another spoke quieter "She is just so fine!"

I looked back to see was by myself meaning they were all talking about me. Instantly disgusted I hurried into the restaurant. I liked the look of the town, but the people not so much.So far......

enjoy the chapter? I think that I'm gonna be doing a little bit of rambling for the first few chapters but bare with me I know what I want to talk about mostly but if I left nothing in between it would be really short chapter. So sorry if u think it was kinda boring.
