Run, while you still can

before your wings are clipped

your legs are bent

your arms too weak to move

Run, while you have the chance

before your mind is torn

your heart is worn

and love begins to forget

Run, if you're going to leave

before i get too attached to we're meant to be

before something goes wrong

sanity might not last long

Run, for your own protection

I don't want to hurt you

I fear under closer inspection

you'll be afraid of me

and run
