Hana didn't argue. She grabbed Min by the arm and rushed him back inside the club. They hurried to the elevator, going straight down to the basement parking. The moment they reached her car, Shine pushed open the passenger door and helped Min inside, then slammed her own door shut.

As she drove out of the parking lot, her phone began to ring.

Ring... ring... ring...

It was Allen.

Shine put on her headset and answered immediately, panic already rising in her throat.

"Allen—we were attacked," Shine said, her voice trembling.

"Where are you now?"

"On the way to the house."

"With Min?"

"Of course!"

"Good. Just come here as fast as you can—and Hana, try to breathe."

"See you later," Shine said before ending the call.

Min shifted nervously in his seat.
"H-Hana... what's happening?" he asked, the fear in his young face unmistakable.

"I don't know," Shine said softly, though her heart was pounding. "But it's not safe for you to go home tonight. We'll call your parents once everything settles."

Min nodded, trusting her completely.

Shine stepped harder on the accelerator.

When they arrived, Allen was already outside waiting—jaw tense, eyes sharp.

Shine climbed out quickly.
"What's happening? Who were those men? Why were Nam and Monika there?" she demanded in one breath.

Allen didn't respond—not yet. Instead, he crouched in front of Min.

"Min, do you want something to eat?"
Min shook his head.
"You've had a long day. Let's rest first, hmm? I'll call your parents later."

Min nodded again.

Allen stood and guided Min inside, passing by Shine.
"I'll explain everything later," he whispered.

Her inner voice hissed, "Allen is right. Get Min inside first."

Shine forced herself to calm down and followed them.

Inside the House

"Is Min okay?" Shine asked as soon as Allen returned to the living room.

"Yes. He's resting. He doesn't understand what happened, but he's doing his best to stay calm," Allen said, taking her hand.

Shine sank onto the couch, her knees still weak.

"You okay?" he asked, sitting beside her.

She nodded—barely.

"Ready for answers?"

Shine nodded again.

Allen exhaled. "Your shooting... and what happened today—they're all from the same person."

He didn't need to say the name. Shine's eyes widened in horror.

"How? I thought you got him!"

"He escaped. I didn't tell you because you were already dealing with too much."

Shine pressed both hands to her head and breathed hard.

"Since when?" she whispered.

"The night you stayed at Yuzuru's house," Allen said. "Honestly, I thought it was a blessing. Yuzuru was with you. Nam and Monika too."
