Sorry for the really long wait, guys, but the new chapter's up now.  ARTEMIS POV

The next month passed in a similar fashion. We got the band together and practiced all together over and over. Finally, the day of the competition arrived.

I woke up at noon that morning. I stretched and laid back down lazily as my phone beeped. I picked it up and read the reminder. 'Competition today,' it read. I looked at it for a while before the words registered in my brain.

"Holy Hephaestus!" I yelled. Percy poked his head through the door frame.

"Hey, Arty. Did you just wake up?" He asked, and I frantically nodded. He laughed at me and left the room. A few seconds later, Athena and Hera walked into the room.

"Help me get ready!" I yelled, and they rushed into action. Hera went for my clothes and shoes, Athena for my makeup, and me for the bathroom. I quickly showered, brushed my teeth and combed my hair. When I got out, Athena forced a plate of blue pancakes into my hand and forced me to eat. I couldn't taste anything, though. It all tasted like cardboard and felt like sandpaper going down my throat. As soon as I swallowed everything, I rushed to the bathroom. Kneeling over the toilet, I started retching. Someone came into the bathroom and pulled my hair away from my face. When I stopped puking, I rinsed out my mouth in the sink and looked at who helped me. "Thanks, Percy," I said, smiling at him. I showered again to get the smell of puke off me and started to get ready. Athena helped me into a blue dress (above) and Hera did my hair in a half-crown braid. By this time, it was two. I grabbed a bottle of water and Percy, Hera, Athena, Apollo, my mom, my grandpa, and my dad piled into the car. I turned on the engine.

"Artemis, are you sure that you're okay?" Percy asked, feeling my forehead from the passenger seat.

I nodded, "I'm fine, Percy. Don't worry about it. I'm sure its nothing serious." He nodded and we drove to the competition in silence. When we got there, we signed in and went to the room they saved for us. Mom, Athena, Hera, and I went to one room to do our makeup while Percy, Apollo, and dad went into the other room to get dressed. An hour later, we were ready and it was almost time for us to go on. We for ready backstage until they called my name.

"Next up," said the announcer, "is Diana Olympia.". We walked out on stage and got into our places. Athena and Hera as backup singers, Dad on bass, Percy guitar, Mom keyboard, and gramps drums. They started the music for Just Give Me A Reason.

Me: Right from the start, you were a thief, you style my heart. And I, your willing victim. I let you see the parts of me that weren't all that pretty, and with every touch, you fixed them. Now, you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh things you'd never say to me, oh oh, tell me that you've had enough, of our love, our love. Just give me a reason, just a little his enough, just a second, we're not broken, just bent and we can learn to love again.

Percy: I'm sorry I don't understand, where all this is coming from. I thought that we were fine.

Me: Oh, we had everything.
Percy: Your head is running wild again, my dear, we still have everything. And it's all in your mind.

Me: Yeah, but this is happening.

Percy: You've been having real bad dreams, oh oh, you still are so close to me, oh oh, there's nothing more than empty sheets, between our love, our love, oh our love, our love, woah.

Both: Just give me a reason, just a little bots enough, just a second, were not broken, just bent and we can learn to love again. Its in the stars, its been written in the scars on our hearts, we're not broken, just bent and we can learn to love again.
Me: Oh, tear ducts and rust.
