(A/N) Right, okay... This is my first fanfic that I've actually been brave enough to post without completely scrapping it. I don't really know where it's going at the moment, you know with the plot and stuff so I'm just going to go with it and see what happens. This chapter is quite short because I didn't feel like as the opening chapter it needed to be any longer. I'm going to stop blabbing on now before you all fall asleep, but yeah... Hope you like it and there'll be another chapter up soon :D
“Gerard Arthur Way! Concentrate please!”Mrs Barker yelled violently. “Now, can you please tell me what four cubed is?” Gerard was awful at maths, he just couldn’t understand it. The only subject which interested him was art. If he was perfectly honest, the reason he couldn’t answer her question was not due to his poor maths skills, it was because a couple of rows across from him, sat a short, chubby boy who had captured Gerard’s eye. His name, Gerard was unsure of, albeit he knew Mikey would know being the sociable person that he was. The boy wore jeans, hanging off his rather feminine hips along with a baggy t shirt with the Misfits logo on it. Unlike Gerard’s hair, his was extremely short and seemed to be dyed black as no one’s hair is naturally that black. Ahh... How he wished he could just... “Gerard Arthur Way! As you have chosen to be ignorant, may you please make your way out of my classroom? If this happens again I will contact your parents!”
‘Well that went well.’ Gerard thought. “Ugh I have to stop getting so distracted by him.” He muttered to himself.
“Erm, Gee... Who are you talking about?” Mikey asked whilst emerging from behind him. “It’s that guy who’s in your Maths class isn’t it?” Gerard suddenly felt a rush of heat crawl towards his face. He could imagine how red his face was turning at this current moment. “Gerard Arthur Way, do not ignore me! Your face looks like a tomato, it is so red. You like him, yes or no?” Mikey said assertively. Damn, why could he always figure these things out?
“Um, yeah... I kinda do... A bit! Just a bit!” A questioned look appeared on Mikey’s face and I could tell he knew I liked him. I don’t even know his name. Oh shit. “Okay, a lot!”
Looking highly amused Mikey said “Ha! I knew it.”
“No, Mikes, DO NOT tell ANYONE!!!”
“Not even Frank?” He asked whilst smirking.
“Frank?”
“Yeah! That’s his name. Surely you remember... He went to primary school with us, when we lived in our old house he came over for tea quite a lot.” Ugh, I’m such an idiot. Why did I not remember this? We were pretty much best friends.
“Oh yeah! Don’t you fucking dare Mikey!”
“Hah... Okay, okay. I can invite him over for tea if you like.” Mikey suggested, his elbow making contact with the side of my body.
“No.”
“Okay...”
