*Bella's p.o.v*

When I awoke I was bundled up in Jaxon's arms. Tingles were going everywhere making my cheeks burn up. Why aren't I scared? I thought.
Because he is your mate' a voice said in my head.

I don't understand though, aren't the male mates mean and greedy. Well that what the guys said.

Flash back

Shelby was crying and sobbing begging for Sam to stop throwing punches at her. I wanted to jump in front of her to take the blow, but I was to weak from the beating I just got from Kole. He wanted to touch me cause he needed to let off some steam. I wouldn't let him so he beat me for two hours straight.

"I told you not to talk to any males especially the inmates males" Sam yelled as he picked her up by her hair. She let out a ear piercing scream as she was dragged to the underground dungeons. The sad thing was, she still loved him.

End of flash back-

I froze as realization hit me. I'm in a bed with my mate. How did I get here? When did I get here? Did he-

I was torn from my thoughts when Jaxon started to move and put me on his smooth muscular broad chest. I slowly put my head on his chest closing my eyes and listening to his heart beats.

Suddenly soft big lips pressed against my forehead. "Good morning kitten" his sexy groggy morning voice said. I started to tense up. As if sensing my sudden change he started to tell me sweet nothings in my ear, but what got me all goo goo like was when he said "Ain't nothing gunna touch you in a hurtful way ever. No one is gunna hit you either. Don't be scared, I will keep you safe forever and always".

We stayed wrapped in each other's arms well me wrapped in his arms for another hour or so. "Alright kitten, it's time to give you a bath. After that we are going down for breakfast" he ordered as he got up and carried me across his bedroom to the bathroom

Jaxon set me down on the toilet seat and went to start the bath. Just when I thought he was going to leave he came up to me and reached or the bottom of the big T shirt. I forced my hands down to stop him.

"Don't" he growled.

I started to shake in fear as he pulled the shirt off slowly. I didn't dare look into his eyes. After the shirt was completely off I pulled my legs close to my body so I was in a ball. Jaxon signed and picked me up. He set me in the surprisingly hot tub.

Jaxon started to wash my hair with his really smelly shampoo and conditioner. Then he started to wash my body. Every time I tried to cover myself he would give a warning growl. When he got to my lower half he started to growl and purr, weird.

After he rinsed me off he gave me a towel and a new clean black T that smelt just like him, after shave and woods.
