The next morning I woke up groggily. At first shapes and colors blurred together, I couldn't understand why. I tried to get up, I had work today and needed to get up. Susan was probably pissed I was late. But that's when I remembered where I was, I started to cry.
I sat up slowly and saw Susan on the floor beside my bed scratching at her wrist. It was bright red and looked very painful. "Susan..?" I asked quietly. She looked up at me "oh my God Emily!" She got up and checked my head, she seemed a lot better.
"I'm sorry about yesterday I was just really fucked up, I promise I'm okay now though." She pet my hair softly. "But I'm not staying here, I checked and there is no exits, but I can....I can kill myself and...maybe you can escape later?" Maybe she wasnt better. She looked at me with tears in her eyes "Susan please don't leave me!" I blubbered, I couldn't help it I didn't want to be left alone here. She started to cry.
"I'm not strong like you Emily. Now go to sleep, when you wake up, I'm going to be lying on this floor, dead. You scream, and cry, and act like you know nothing okay?"I started to cry but I nodded my head slowly.
She made me lay down and wiped my tears away "goodnight Emily I love you" she kissed my forehead as her warm tears dropped on my face "goodnight Susan I love you too."
As I fell asleep I could hear the sound of Susan humming an old lullaby, and scratching her wrist. I don't think I could ever forget it.
Author's note: yes I know this is REALLY short, I'm sorry. I have a headache but I wanted to write something so I did. This will be finished soon so enjoy. Leave your thoughts (:
