An Awkward Situation

P.O.V~ Juvia Lockser

For the rest of the morning, I was giddy and joyus. From smiling to strangers to dancing in the Kroger parking lot, I was on fire with feelings.

I was in my bedroom trying to read a text Levy sent. "Meet us at the old playground at 5....bring Gray too....." What the fudge..... what the heck did she mean by 'bring Gray?' I ran my fingers throungh my loose hair and sighed.

I typed 'Kk' and placed my phone on my bedside table. Why did Levy want to bring Gray with me... Did she have some type of scheme or something??

I shook my head from the thought and ran downstairs to see what mom was doing. "Hey there, Raindrop..." mom said gloomly. Her hair was in a messy low bun with strands standing out. She looked stressed.

"Bills....?" I asked in a sad tone. She nodded and dropped her head into her hands. "I don't know how we're gonna pay them off....dad was usually good at this but... " she sighed and tried to smile.

I walked over to mom and gave her a hug and kiss. I could feel her hand rub my back as the thought if dad hit me.

We cried in each others arms for two hours...

P.O.V~ Gray Fullbuster

I felt my phone buzz as Lyon and I walked into the Chinese restaurant.

"Hey man, I gotta take this but go ahead and get us a spot.." I said. He nodded and walked to the lady to find our seats. I picked up my phone and saw Juvia's name on the screen.

"Hey there.." I answered. "Hi..um..I was wondering.." she spoke. "Mhm.." I answered back.
"Uh..um..are you free tonight? Like at around maybe 5 or 6 toninght?" Her voice soundt nervous. . "Oh..well I'm eating Chinese food with Lyon right now but other than that, I'm free for the day." I said. "Perfect. Thank you..." and then she hung up.

I hung up too and walked to where Lyon was sitting. "Who called?"

I blushed. I really didn't want to tell him cause, you know...he likes her... "Uhh.. it was a uh...friend.." I tried lie. "Nice try Mr. Smart stuff...it was Juvia, wasn't it.." he said as we got up to get our food. "Crap. Yeah.."

"It's fine.. I understand she loves you..but she will soon be mine!" He's eyes sparkled as he tried to do a romantic pose. "What the heck man?! Not here!" I yelled. "Sorry, I can't contain myself!!" He squealed like a little girl. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a plate.

P.O.V~ Juvia Lockser

I set my plate in the sink and rinsed it. Mom walked up behind and placed her plated beside me as I grabbed the sponge.

She kissed my cheek and thanked me. I smiled and thanked her back. We ate BLTs for lunch with soda and milkshakes from a place down the street. After I finished washing the dishes, I ran back upstairs and decided to read a book.

I flipped through the pages and stared into the book. "And he swayed right above and stated," Maybe next time, blonde...."

I gasped as I saw the word knife and blood. My room was quiet, silent. Then, RING RING!!!! I jumped and dropped the book on the floor. My butt vibrated and rung as my phone went off.

"Geesh.." I murmured.  "Hello?" I answered. "Heyyy. Are you ready?" I heard Levy ask in an mysterious tone.

"Uhh, for what?"

"Oh my goldfish....to meet us at the old playground! Ya know, at 5?"

Oh. Crap. I scrambled up and hung up. I was currently wearing black sweatpants and an oversized T-shirt. I pulled open my drawers and panicked about what I was gonna wear.

I decided to wear capris, my only pair of Vans that are gray, and a blue flannel unbuttoned. I wore a cami underneath.

I chose to braid my hair to the side a tiny spirtz of perfume. I looked at myself in the mirror and checked to see how it looked. I smiled, grabbed my phone, said bye to mom, and called Levy and Gray.

I called Levy to let her know I wad n my way. Once I hung up, I called Gray. "Hello?" "Hai, its almost 4:50 and we need to leave now so uh..are you ready yet?" I asked. "Yeah, but um, where exactly are we going?" Cheeseballs. I forgot to tell him..
I explained and said 'see ya in a bit.' We hung up and I met up with Gray and the park. We then walked to the playground.

"So your (laughs) mom thought that (laughs) whipped cream was (laughs) cream that had been whipped by whip?!" I was dying of laughter. I know its not my best..

I contained myself and giggled inside. My hands dangled to my sides and felt one of them feel warm. I looked down and saw Gray's hand hold mine. Holy green beans....

I held his too and we talked about each other. "So how old is your little sister?" I asked. "She's 7....the little brat loves Elsa.."

I giggled as we arrived to the old abandon playground. "This is it..I remember playing here when I was little..heahea.." I let go of Gray's hand (never thought I'd say that) and hugged Levy, Lucy, and Erza. I then realized that Gajeel, the scary one, Jellal, and Natsu were here. My eyes widened as I saw Natsu.

"Wait? Why the heck is Flame Brain here?!" I heard Gray yell. Crap.... everyone knows never to mix Gray and Natsu...this time it failed. The two started to shout and argue. Then suddenly, WHACK. "Will you two shut up!" Erza had the guts to bang the two on the head. "Yes, ma'am..." they pleaded. We giggled and turned towards Levy and Lucy.

"So what are we doing here, Shrimp." Gajeel asked. "Eh? Hey! I told you not to call me that!!" He made a face and crossed his arms.

"Okay guys..this was a set up." Levy confessed. "WHAT."

" I did this so you guys could come together and know each other. Jellal, its obvious you like Erza, Lucy, sorry im gonna spell the beans, likes Natsu, and Juvia likes Gray."

"So the rumors are true.." Gray said anf looked at me. I blushed. "So then why is Gajeel here then? Do you like him cause you never said his or your name..." I asked. She blushed and turned away.

She put us all in an awkward situation. . Nobody knew what to do.
