"I am so so sorry!" I repeat again and again, trying to pick up the papers and a few textbooks that had fallen.

He gives a small chuckle as he helps me pick up his belongings, "it's okay. I was at fault too, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." He replies kindly as he's putting his pencils in his pencil bag.

"No no, don't take the blame for me, how about I do something for you, my treat for crashing into you out of nowhere." I reply growing embarrassed.

It wasn't really my fault. I was just running after Marilyn, who had stolen my phone to look through any evidence I had, to see if I had any plans with Jiyong today. If she hadn't been so nosy I wouldn't have literally run into this poor guy.

"Ah, okay, I see now." He responds once he has everything together in his pencil bag.

"What do you mean?" I ask softly slowly handing his textbooks back to him.

He smiles as he places his hands on the spine of the textbook slightly touching my fingertips. He pushes up his black framed glasses with one finger and keeps it on the bridge of his glasses. "This was all a set up so you could go on a date with me." He finally comments as he looks up at me.

I honestly couldn't tell if he was being serious or if he was just messing around with me as he tried to loosen the thick atmosphere between us. I just remained silent, unknowing of what to do next.

He then chuckles as he takes his textbooks from my hands, "I was just kidding, but thanks for the offer. If you have anything in mind let me know, yeah?" He responds as he gives me an index card with his number on it. "The name is Zachary, but you can call me Zach if you want." He ends as he walks away, then stops to look back. He smiles widely as his eyes smile as well and he waves bye, I slowly raise my hand and give an awkward smile as I wave bye back.

"And who was that?!" A voice loudly sang behind me as their hands were placed into my shoulders.

Throwing off her hands and turning to her I crossed my arms sternly looking at her. "Why did you have to hold my phone captive? I ran into him! Now I have to show how sorry I am to repay him." I reply, loudly sighing and letting my arms fall to my side as I looked back in the direction he left.

"I just wanted to see how you and Jiyong are getting along. You two are so," she then makes this grunting whale noise showing how hard it was to describe how the both of us are. "I barf when you two are like that."

"You're just jealous because Jiyong likes to spend time with me." I remark as I smile and straighten my posture as if I was an ignorant little girl.

"Yes and no. But mainly no. Anyways lets go to next class before we're late." She quickly changes the subject as she takes my wrist into her hand and drags me off onto the other side of campus.

"Yeah if that's okay with you." I say into the phone as I sip some lemonade I had made the day before.

"Yeah that's okay with me." He replies into the phone as I could silently hear an audible cough.

"Are you sick?" I ask, growing slightly concerned for the young man.

"Yeah I'm okay. Water went down the wrong pipe." He gives a small chuckle trying to lessen the awkward tension.

"So then I'll see you here in a bit then?" I wait for his response and then say a farewell as I turn off my phone placing it beside me, not ready to deal with the mess Marilyn has in store for me when she finds out.

"I'm home!" Katelynn chirps as she closes the door.

"Welcome back!" I scream from my bed, contemplating if going out with him at such a late hour would cause a ruckus.

My bedroom door widely opens suddenly, to see Katelynn standing there with bags in her hands.

"What's that?" I asked pointing to the bags that are filled with mystery items.

"Well," she responds extending her "well" as she walks over to my bed and dumps everything on my bed. "We're going to a concert so what's better than making your own merchandise to wear at their concert?!" She says as she takes out a plain white shirt and some letter iron ons.

"What about Marilyn? I think she'll be missing out on the fun." I comment as I take my phone to see who had texted me, it was the devil herself.

"She'll come by later, she wanted to go to the mall nearby with one of her friends." Katelynn responded as she got out everything.

I looked at the time that was displayed on my phone to see it be three in the afternoon. I got up and went to my closet, hoping I wouldn't be stopped but sadly I was.

"Where are you going? Don't you wanna make shirts?" Katelynn asked as she was trying to open one of the craft boxes she had bought.

"I'm going somewhere with a couple of friends. And make me one, I kind of already made plans with them." I simply replied. It wasn't lying if I considered them as friends right?

"Ah okay. I'll just wait for Marilyn to come back, have fun." She said as she waved while I walked to the bathroom to go change.

It wasn't anything special, right? So I decided to just go casually. By the time I was done it was 3:30. I quickly got into my car and drove off to the destination.

Please don't let it be awkward.
