My heart beat faster as I blushed. 'He doesn't want me to leave? Why does he care?' He didn't move away from me until he got my answer. "Okay. For right now I will stay, but no promises in the future," I tell him, looking down at the grass blushing from his sudden contact. He gave a goofy grin and a thumbs up replying, "Good!"

"U-Um we should probably head back now.." I tell him, scratching the back of my neck. "You're right, we probably should." He responded, taking my hand and leading back to the center of Phoenix Drop.

Once we made it to Phoenix Drop Levin seemed relieved that I was back. Why would he be relieved? I don't know.. All I am is bad luck. I shivered from past memories and Levin looked back at me, "Are you okay?" "Hm? Oh! Yeah I'm fine!" I awkwardly laughed an scratched the back of my neck, "Absolutely fine.." I mumbled.

He smiled at me again and said, "You should probably rest." I looked at him and nodded, heading for the tree that I always sleep in. "Wait. Not in the tree.. You should probably sleep in a room so that it would make you feel safer.." I looked back at him confused but I still listened to him. He sighed, "You can sleep in my room if it makes you feel any better, I'm not going to be sleeping in there anytime soon. I still have work to do."

I blushed at him but nodded, following him to his house. His house was so cozy and the fireplace made it feel more like a home. It made me smile that I was finally invited into someone's home for once. I followed him up the stairs and to his room. It looked nice and it was comforting in a weird way. "Well you can sleep here if you like for now," Levin said with a light blush on his cheeks. I gave him a small smile and nodded before he left.

I sighed and climbed into Levin's bed. It was soft and comforting for once. I'm not saying that the beds I slept in were not comfortable but Levin's was much better. It makes sense though, a lord needs to sleep but get up pretty early and the only way they can do that is to have a comfortable bed. I sighed releasing all stress from the day. I soon fell asleep not knowing if I would get a nightmare or not.

I woke up with the sun shining through the windows. 'Thank goodness I didn't have a nightmare. Wait.. if it's morning where did Levin sleep?' I quickly jolted out of bed and quietly but swiftly went down the stairs only to see Levin sleeping on the couch. I sighed at him,'He could of just woken me up to get out of bed.' I walked over to him and sat on the ground looking at his peaceful face. 'Well he is kind of cute sleeping like that.. Wait what did I just say?!' I blushed and shook my head getting rid of those thoughts.

I heard a groan come form in front of me and Levin's eyes fluttered open. His beautiful blue eyes stared into my sparkling (E/C) ones. "(Y-Y/N)!" Levin exclaimed, quickly sitting up on the couch, "Are you okay? Did something happen?" A voice inside my head spoke to me, 'Tell him. Tell him about your past. It's okay, he wont judge you..' It was a feminine voice that I recognize slightly but I still don't know who it is. I felt like it was okay and the voice was calming me down. 'I guess I should tell him sooner or later..'

"Levin I need to tell you something," I sighed still looking into his shining blue eyes. Levin flinched but nodded, patting the cushion next to him. I obliged and sat next to him, looking down at my hands. 'It's okay you will be alright. I promise he will not judge you.' I took a deep breath in and started to speak, "Levin what I need to tell you is very hard to explain but I need to tell you someday." He looked at me with confusion with his eyes but nodded. I stopped for a few seconds and continued to take deep breaths, "My past is not normal. Almost like yours in some ways but not really.." I stopped instantly and worry filled my eyes and I stared at Levin.

He smiled at me trying to make me feel calm and it worked. It made me feel calm in a strange way, I gave him a light smile back and continued, "I don't remember a lot of my past but I get nightmares frequently that replays one part of my past.." I took one more deep breath before explaining, "One night I woke up to the smell of smoke filling the room. I was about 5 at the time and I was very confused but I knew that something was wrong. I quickly ran outside of the castle and seen the whole village burning. I heard people screaming my name around me begging for me to help them, but I couldn't do a thing. After that I ran into the forest and never came back. I want to know who I am and where I came from but every time I try to look for an answer I never get one." I bite my lip trying to stop any tears that are trying to escape.

"That's why I want to leave. Everyone that I meet tells me that I am bad luck-" "You're not back luck," Levin interrupted me staring into my (E/C) orbs. "To me all you have been is good luck. You make me happy and you are the reason I am smiling right now." Tears start to escape my eyes as I listen to him.

 "(Y/N) I will protect you."
