(Y/N) POV
I messed around in the library for no reason, I mean there was nothing else to do. I sat in the library chair and thought for a few minutes, 'Zane said that he knew about my village being burned but how? Maybe there is a book with records of what happened around here.' I looked around the room, it was fairly large for a library. I stood up and carefully walked towards the files that they had there. I didn't want to be caught because then people might get suspicious of me. I cautiously looked around the files. I suddenly realized something important.. I needed to know the village name.. ugh. I mentally face palmed as I blankly stared at the files.
'What is the village name?! I grew up there so why can't I remember the name?' 'The name was Sylph' "You're back! Where have you been!?" The lady softly laughed, 'Don't worry about that. The name was Sylph, the name of the village.' I smiled, "Thanks." I realized that I was speaking out loud and I blushed, looking around me to see if there was anyone who saw. Luckily there was no one. 'Hey since you know the village name do you know the.. friend.. that hid the letter about the dress?' 'That is for you to figure out and do research about. But you don't have much time do you? 3 days I think. That's not that long.' I sighed, 'I know but I just have to research without being caught. How hard can that be?'
All of a sudden I heard a thump next to me. I quickly turned my head to see a surprised Zane next to the tall filing cabinet. "(Y/N)? What are you doing back here?" My face went red as I stared at him for a few seconds, "Oh I was just you know.. EXPLORING! I'm Dora you know?" "What?" "Never mind.." I sighed and lowered my head, "Do you need something?" "Well I was coming here so I could do some research about some people that could of taken the dress that I gave you and replace it. There was no evidence in your room so I decided to come here.. except you already beat me here." I laughed, "Sorry I didn't know that you wanted to do research here." "It's fine, you could actually help out too. I don't think your very pleased thinking that someone snuck into your room last night so I will let you help."
If only he knew about the letter.. I agreed to help because I could probably find out who was my friend. If the person was my old friend doesn't that mean that they were from Sylph? I may be thinking too much though, maybe I met them outside of Sylph but don't remember them. I sighed and took the folder that Zane told me to look at.
