This is a filler. I really hope that you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing. A funny story... I actually wrote this chapter in A&E (Accident and Emergency). I'm fine. But I thought I was gonna die. I'm fine now.

Anyway. The first Round.

Part 12: Round 1

My teeth were bared, my hair was standing up straight. I wanted to fight. I wanted to quench my bloodthirsty being. I wanted to make them feel pain. They should cry... These NewBorns in front of me had taken away my father. My father was dead because of them. And the creator had the nerve to change my grandmother as well.

There definitely was hell to pay.

"Who is the Creator?!" Seff roared, I looked at him. His muscles were bulging, his teeth were elongated, his eyes were amber. The remnants of the crowd began to walk away, but I growled.

"Stay!" I screeched, my voice was different, it sounded as if a sinister being had taken over my vocal chords; my voice was guttural, angry and powerful beyond belief. The crowd looked at me, their eyes wary, before they stayed. They knew a much worse punishment would await them if they had left.

"Who is the creator?!" I repeated, most of the Villagers seemed absolutely confused. They were murmuring amongst themselves.

Seff and I shared a look. The NewBorns still stood in front of us. They looked shocked, and definitely out of their safety zone. The five girls were still standing next to me.

"Who are they?" Seff whispered, I could see a ghost of a smile on his face. I held his hand.

"They're the backup..." I reply. Seff nods.

"Who is the Creator!" He bellows, this was getting boring.

I faced the girls, I nodded at them, I was beckoning for them to begin searching. Seff and I would pretend to be searching for the NewBorn's Creator. I looked at Seff and smiled.

"Okay," I said, "What were you doing to Seff?"

It was silent, I looked at my Grandma. A melancholy feeling took over me; someone had taken my family. This was all the Creator's fault, I shut my eyes, and all I could see was bright red. My hands were fists, my body was shaking, I was furious. I shut my eyes trying to reduce my anger to no avail.

I could picture my Grandmother, I could see my family. My happy family, my mother was there, she was with my father laughing. My Grandmother was there, she didn't seem as happy, but no one could see that.

I paused.

I was now staring at the woman I called my Grandmother; word could never express how I felt about her, she was my family. She nurtured me.

She was merely a victim.

I paused again.

"My Grandmother had been the first to know about the NewBorn," I considered, I must've said it out loud as Seff nodded at me.

She had been acting weird from early on, and she had been extremely welcoming straight after my father's death... Heck I hadn't even told anyone about my father's death.

"Why were you here?" I asked a few stupid Villagers who were still here.

"To avenge!" They roared. "To avenge the murder of your father and you. We though Seff had killed you... But you obviously don't need nor want saving."

I looked at Alex.

How did he feel about his fiancé being with another man? He was unusually nonchalant.

I began to walk towards Alex, but Seff stopped me. He grabbed my arm with a firm grip.

"I know what you thinking," he growled. "Stay here with me."

At this moment, I had gotten Seff's full attention, he was focused solely on me. I touched his cheek.

I pulled my hand off him slowly as a wave of nausea hit me. My eyes were heavy, my hands were shaking. Seff was looking at me worriedly as I wobbled on my feet. I could barely stand. My skin was prickling, but I didn't let that deter me.

"But we need to find the culprit, I can't... I won't rest until we find the culprit!" I announced, I felt queasy, but i kelt ignoring it. I looked up.

Was someone doing something to me.? I wasn't supposed to feel like this.

I looked again; only to find my Grandmother gone.... Everyone was gone!

I felt terror slip up my spine. Someone was on- obviously someone was on. I was on a mission!

"Where did they go?!" I cried as I held onto Seff's arm in trepidation.

He swore, his face turning dark with rage.

"They are doing it again!" He roared, I watched as his arms grew hairier and hairier, his eyes were wild, big and amber. His fingers were turning into claws. I could see that Seff was enraged and fearful.

"What happened before?" I asked, letting go of his hand. He looked at me, his eyes turning green. He was gaining his humanity, but not completely.

"I didn't see anyone in the town before," he whispered, "So I put my guard down. And then, the next thing I knew, they were attacking me, but I couldn't see them."

"What?..." I uttered, looking around, my eyes were open wide, I was trying my hardest- putting all my effort in to scope out any life. I couldn't hear anything.

The girls were gone. It was just Seff and I. I looked at Seff...

Seff.

He was gone as well. An overwhelming sense of urgency overtook my whole body. I was sweating hard, I couldn't hear anything. The silence was so loud, it was deafening.

Oh God.

This wasn't what I expected. Who was doing this? I thought we were battling a NewBorn. No supernatural can do this kind of stuff. What was going on?

I took a deep breath and stood up tall. I was Red, I was strong, I was powerful. My jaw was clenched. I had one advantage over the NewBorn... No one knew what I was. It didn't help that I didn't know either.

I slowly shut my eyes, I was concentrating on myself. I had no other choice.

I could feel my heartbeat, it was slow and steady. I could feel my hands, they were heavy. My eyelids were heavy, I was tired. I was tired of all of this. All I wanted was to be safe and happy with Seff. I wanted it to be just us... No looking over our shoulders.

I opened my eyes. And in front of me stood the largest beast I had ever seen in my life...

My heart was pounding in my ears, my whole body was shaking, I was freaking out.

I looked around once more. Where was Seff?!

Where was everyone.

I was alone.

My lip trembled. I felt like a little girl, yearning for someone to rescue her. I was so vulnerable. And this was the time this Beast comes for me.

Good choice. I slowly took my cape off. I ran my hands through my hair. Tilted my head and looked at the Beast with malice in my eyes. This was an enemy. I had to kill it. I wasn't thinking about anyone else, I didn't consider the NewBorns. I didn't even bother with being confused.

All I knew was that if I slayed the Beast, I would win. Everything would be solved from there on.

I didn't know how I was going to win. I didn't know my powers- I didn't think about whether or not I was stronger than it. That was irrelevant.

I was going to win. It was only a matter of time.

I looked at the Beast....
