I woke up on my bed feeling sore, and this emptiness in my soul. I tried to open my eyes, and move my body, but I can't.
What is going on? I asked Jen
He marked another. He broke his part of our bond. She told me
Is that why I am paralyzed right now? I asked.
Yes, I need a few days to heal. Life without my mate will be hard.
Jen is right. Being Mateless makes a wolf popular because they don't have a person they feel happy with, who they feel love with, and who they feel complete with. I will have none of that.
I hear my door open at least I think it is, and I hear my friends and my mom come in.
It's silent so I think they are mind-linking. My thoughts were correct seeing that my mom stayed and my two friends left. To be with their mates probably.
"Honey, please wake up soon. Your father and I miss you dearly. You've been sleeping for a week," my mother said.
A week?! Jen said a couple of days. He was a high ranking wolf, so I guess it makes sense that I have to have more time to heal.
After hearing my mother's concern I fell back asleep in hopes that the next time a wake up I can open my eyes and move.

King's POV
"Hey, Brad, when are we heading to that one pack?" I asked my alpha whilst barging in his office.
"Yes, King? Would you like to ask that more politely?" Brad replied not looking away from his paperwork.
Sighing, "May I know when we are heading to the other pack?" I asked.
He lifted his head up and smiled, "The day after tomorrow since you asked so nicely." I shook my head at my best friend.
"Do you think I'll find a second chance?" I asked him.
"I hope so, you deserve it King. You went through so much with Lisa. I hope you can find love again," Brad told me honestly. I looked at him in the eyes. His hazel eyes, stared back at my ice blue ones piercing me begging to not get my hopes up. I know he is looking out for me, but I have a feeling that this pack is going to change my life.

Jesse's POV
I woke up again after what felt like years finally having the strength of opening my eyes. They burned to the long forgotten sensation of light luminating the room. As my eyes adjusted I attempted to move my arms and legs. Slowly, but surely I was able to. My muscles ached with the foreign feeling from laying down for more than a week.
As I began to move my arms to get used to the new-old feeling of using them, my parents walked into my room.
Why didn't they take me to the hospital? I am pretty sure the shaking wasn't normal.
My mom's eyes grew wide in shock, as did my dad's. Why are they so shocked? I mean I was asleep for a good week, but such a reaction is making me nervous.
"Honey, you're awake," she said then turned to my dad and said to him, "sweety grab a mirror she's going to want to see herself." My dad nodded and walked out of my room.
"What? What's different?" I asked skeptically. She moved to sit net to me on my bed as I moved to sit up.
"You'll see. You look twice as beautiful as you did before."
Confused I tilted a my head a bit, then my father brought a hand-held mirror and gave it to me. With shaky hands I grabbed it.
Turning it, so the reflective side faces me. I gasped.

King's POV
The day has come. We are finally heading out. We had to wait a bit seeing one of their best warriors daughter had an incident. We wanted to wait until everyone knew she was OK.
When I heared about her convulsing my wolf got slightly irritated. I smiled knowing she may be my second chance.
I took my stuff to my car, it was a normal economic car. My pack doesn't believe in buying expensive cars seeing they are a pain and we don't really need to prove ourselves in materials when we can in battle.
My gray Pontiac Vibe 2008 works perfectly fine for me. I stuck my stuff in the back and shoved some of my pack mates things seeing if they fit in my car as well so we won't have to take many cars.I started my car and began the trip across the country.

Jesse's POV
Apparently they waited to come to make sure I was OK. They didn't want to overwhelm me, or have their pack mates question me if they never saw me before. I don't understand their logic seeing I will spend most of my time in my room mourning the loss of my mate.
Let's not forget the torture of high school... Shit. I have a lot of ish to catch up on. Damn. Why couldn't Reed mark Nancy when it was vacations? I have classes to pass, and I don't want to be a super senior being the only one who went through high school in five years.
Reed is a fucking asshole making me miss class.

Yes, there will be a good amount of cussing. Why? Because cussing brings an element in the story, something about cuss words brings the story more flow, or meaning to the situation. I think.
I added this song because I find it inspirational. Not because of the chapter like the other songs I will use. This song is purely for the fact that I like it and so you all should hear it.~A
