Rejecting You (Slow Updates)

Chapter Thirteen

Jesse's POV

I woke up in a room that isn't mine, and the sun is shining. My eyes roamed around looking for a clock, or something.

10:45 a.m.

What. The. Fuck.

Who the hell didn't wake me up?!

I turned to look King holding me in his sleep. I touched my shoulder and remembered he marked me. I closed my eyes to remind myself that I told him to do it. At least I'm not linked to Reed anymore; now I won't feel the eternal hell/Satan's game/the fucker's entertainment every time he had sex with Nancy.

I removed King's arm from my waist, and got up. I have to train, and calm my parents enough to not kill my mate.

After training I walked home. On my way listening to music Reed came up to me.

"Why the fuck did you do that to me Jesse?" He asked grabbing my shoulders.

"Maybe because you mated with another after rejecting me. If anyone should be asking that question it should be me," I told him removing his hands from my shoulders.

He looked at me shocked that I defied him. Then his expression changed. It seemed more sinister, and mumbled something that shocked me completely.

"We will see about that."

I decided to talk to King about what happened, but then I saw Nancy up on him he looked to be struggling to get her off, but she just keeps going at it. His face was contorted with disgust as she continued to kiss him.

"What's going on here?" I accused. Once they heard me she tore off from him.

"Oh! He wanted to see what its like to be with a real shewolf and not some annoying and prissy shewolf like you," she said. King's face looked one of shock, sadness, anger, and disappointment. Probably that I caught them before he was able to tear her off of him.

"Nancy, you have Reed. Why are you taking my mate away from me?" I asked her. I'm just tired of the drama plus King and I will have a very long chat.

"Because Reed doesn't want me anymore! He wants you! That ass wants you! He destroyed his old pack for me and came here for me to discover his second chance mate and it just had to be you! You sick Freak! How dare you take away MY happiness! We rejected our true mates for each other because we are in LOVE, but he just had to fall for you! Tell me Jesse, is it fair that you get to have TWO mates while mine died shortly after I rejected him and the man I LOVE doesn't love me anymore?! Huh?! Second chance mates are rare and you happen to have one, so yes, I don't want you to have a happy ending. I want me to have one you slut!" Nancy screamed at me.

"Wait he destroyed his old pack? He was the new alpha of the Midwest Pack?" I asked quietly. Nancy looked shocked and realized what she said.

"Oh shit. I messed up I need to get out of here," she said looking around for an exit.

"You're not going anywhere," King said. My attention drew to him. I forgot he was here. After what Nancy said can you blame me?

King grabbed her arms looked at me linked me his plan. I nodded and walked away. We are going to catch Reed at his own game.

Short I know, but I am sick. I had a week of adventures last week, and on Friday I got diarrhea. I still have it and it is Tuesday, but I wanted something for you guys to have since you all are lovely!

I know their wolves aren't active like other books, but I feel like the wolves having their own voice throughout the book is a bit much. So mentioning them once in a while is what is going to happen. They are still there but they are silent. The wolves only come out in a crisis, or in their wolf form. Makes sense? If not message me I shall try to explain better.

Nancy turned out to be a Bitch huh? Well she has her reasons which will be revealed in due time.
