Seeing Nancy tied up to a chair isn't as amusing as I first thought it would be.

"You'll never get away with this. Reed will find me, and he will not be happy with you," Nancy said to either King or I.

"I honestly don't care seeing after King marked me he asked me to reject King and go back to him," I scoffed, "As if that will ever happen." She looked at me wide eyed.

"That didn't happen. Tell me that isn't true!" She exclaimed looking anxious.

"It did and I told him to fuck off since he has you," I told her. She seemed to calm down a bit more when I said that.

"Why wasn't I told that he was wanting you back?" King asked seeming dejected. I sighed and hugged him.

"I told him to fuck off because I have you now, and he has Nancy. There would be no point for me to go back since I am happy with you," I told him whispering so Nancy couldn't hear. He nodded and hugged me back.

"Nancy, we need you to tell us how he destroyed his pack. If he had help, or is he insane. We need to know because destroying a pack is a crime against our species, and who we are as a whole. A pack cannot survive without a good leader, but with a bad leader it will perish. Nancy, tell us the truth. We need to know if we are safe. My alpha and I have been here longer than we should have been, and it is concerning. By now I should be back at the East Appalachian pack with Jesse seeing that she is my mate and I have beta duties. Please Nancy tell us what happened," King reason and pleaded to Nancy by breaking apart our hug and kneeling in front of her.

She looked at me, and I looked back with concern. She looked back at King and sighed.

"It started a couple years ago. I was out with my mate Jase, and we were actually going to mark each other in the field where we knew that we were mates. Reed showed up because Jase was his beta, and needed him to do something. Once Jase left he began talking to me. Saying things an Alpha shouldn't say to him beta's mate, but he did it anyway. Jase was back in sight, and Reed left without a trace, so I dismissed it, and told Jase that we would do the marking another day. Then out of no where Reed started to secretly woo me. He sent me flowers, love letters, all of which I his from Jase. He would come in my room in the middle of the night, and talk to me, or watch me as I do my homework. Jase found out and got angry, he was going to mark me right away until word came out that Reed found his mate. I was glad because he would finally leave me alone, and once he did I missed having him around, even more than I missed Jase, but then he rejected his mate. Heartbroken as she was, she couldn't deal with the rejection and died. Reed went insane. He came up with a plan to kill his entire pack. Suddenly it was their fault for her dying. Reed conveniently sent me out of the pack into this one to protect me from his mass killing. You should know how they all died. Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing anymore," Nancy confessed with her head hanging down by the end.

Damn.

"Nancy, do us a favor and not tell Reed about any of this. We need to keep this to ourselves. We don't need to anger him any more than he may be already," King asked of her. She nodded. I felt a pull in my mind link.

Jesse you were right. Reed is insane.

Jen, thank you for telling me something I already know.

She said the honest truth, but I can't help feeling she left some things unsaid. I don't trust her fully, but I at least know what happened. Poor girl got stuck with Stockholm Syndrome. I linked King to untie Nancy seeing that she immediately passed out after telling us everything, well nearly everything. Reed has a plan, and King and I are going to figure it out.

"What do you mean she conveniently fell asleep on a chair dressed like a slut?!" Reed screamed at me.

"It is the truth, she was about to do something dumb, talked her out of it, and she fell asleep on the chair. You should take care of her more," I told him chastisingly. I know the truth, and he has hell to pay for being a psychotic murderer.

"I don't believe you. I think something else happened, and you won't tell me what," he said accusingly. I rolled my eyes and walked away. Now I can talk to King about that kiss with Nancy.
