4 months later, Kayla gave birth to Kelsiee Alaysia Richmond on May 4th at 8:30 AM. Kelsiee came out to be 7lbs 6oz. Kayla was amazed with her newborn and the nurse could see that. Kelsiee was a beautiful milk chocolate baby. She had pretty brown eyes, short curly jet black hair and a cute small nose that Kayla adored.
After Kayla gave birth to Kelsiee, she took a two hour nap because the medicine drugged her out. Throughout the day, friends and some family members arrived at the hospital. Asia showed up at the end of the day. As Asia walked in, Kayla glanced at her in shock. She couldn't believe her sister still came to see her after they haven't spoken in the last 4 months.
"You came to see me." Kayla smiled as Asia walked closer to her bed.
"Yeah. I wanted to see how my sister and new niece were doing." Asia giggled taking a glance at Kelsiee. "She's so cute. She looks like her mom."
"Thanks. Her name's Kelsiee." Kayla kissed her baby's cheek.
"Aww that's a cute name...Oh I got you something for your birthday." Asia dug in her small purse. "I know your birthday was last month, but you wouldn't speak to me , so I kept this gift card until I could see you again."
Asia gave her an $150 Artsy's gift card. Kayla could buy all kinds of art supplies with this card, so she loved it.
"Aww thank you . I love it. Just put it in my bag." Kayla pointed to the bag on the floor.
Asia did as she said. "So how does it feel to be 16?"
"It's good I guess. I can't do normal things for the next 6 weeks." Kayla gave her full eye contact."I have to take my exams on the computer while I'm home."
"Well that's not so bad." Asia shrugged. "Will you be able to come to my graduation in June?"
"I'll try." Kayla looked at Kelsiee.
"Okay."
As Kayla and Asia continued to talk, Kelsiee began to cry because she was hungry. Kayla remembered what the experienced pregnant women told her to do. She opened up her gown a little, so Kelsiee could suck on her nipple. Suddenly, Asia's phone rang and it was Calvin.
"Hey where are you?" Calvin asked in a curious tone.
"At the hospital visiting Kayla." Asia said in a worried tone. "Her baby is adorable."
"I want you home, shoot." Calvin paused."Is the baby dark skinned? and what's her name?"
"I'm coming home now dad." Asia said nonchalantly. "Her name's Kelsiee Alana Richmond and she's brown skinned."
"Eww. Well come home. I want you to meet someone. He's a perfect guy." Calvin smiled and said in an excited tone.
"Okay." Asia ended the call. "That was dad. He wants me to come home to meet someone."
Kayla scoffed. "Well I guess I'll see you later then." Kayla smiled and took Kelsiee off of her breast as Asia hugged her sister and kissed her niece cheek.
As Asia was leaving, Nick was entering in with flowers and a teddy bear. Kayla grinned and looked at Kelsiee sleeping. Nick sat the flowers on the counter and put the bear beside Kayla.
"You surprised I came here?" Nick pulled up a chair.
"Yes I am." Kayla giggled.
"Well the truth is...I really like you." Nick smiled showing his dimples.
"Really? I-I like y-y-you too." Kayla stuttered and blushed.
"Aww." Nick hugged her. "Well it's something about you that makes me tingle inside. You don't seem like other girls." Nick gave Kayla full eye contact
