Chapter 22: A Better Life

3 years later...

Kayla was now 23. She was living the life she's always dreamed of. She had her own place in Brooklyn, New York for her and Kelsiee to live; an advanced artist that works in her home and owns a small art studio for people who want to partake in art or just have a passion for it. Kayla's love life is going just the way she wants it to be. It's just her and Nick. No one has to break them apart anymore. Nick moved to New York a year after he graduated from USC . He's also living with Kayla now.

Instead of Kayla just leaving Devon hanging, she hooked him up with Michelle after she moved to New York 5 months ago. Since they haven't known each other for a long time, they are still learning about eachother. So far Devon actually likes Michelle and she likes him too. She's kind of like Kayla, but more talkative. Devon still hangs with Kayla a little on her spare time since she is major busy these days. She was also ready to reveal her untold story and because Devon was apart of a publishing book company, she felt like he was the right one to talk to. After Kayla pulled out all of her props, evidence,and past writings in her old journal. She was ready to show people what her father, sister, and her mother was really like. Kayla also began to write everything she wanted to be known in this book.

Dominique is signed to an amazing modeling agency that only dealed with women with curves. She lives two houses down from Kayla. Aaron and Julissa are apart of her household. Dominique recently got engaged to Aaron two weeks ago and they plan to get married around December. Julissa is now 7 and attends Waterbrooks Elementary School along with Kelsiee.

Aaron is a music producer. At the moment he produces young musicians from 13-17. He plans to produce for more mature artists in the future and become more popular in his producing business.

Kelsiee is an intelligent 7 year old now. She likes reading, writing, and hopes to become an artist just like her mother. The sad thing about Kelsiee is she's very insecure and isn't very talkative like she used to be when she was 2 and 3. Ever since that incident, she hasn't completely been the same bubbly Kelsiee. However, she has never been rude, obnoxious, or acted snobby for the amazing life she is living. She doesn't have many friends, but Julissa tries to help her meet her friends.

Jacob moved to Manhattan,New York after he finished college. He wanted to make sure Kelsiee could access to him at anytime and any moment. Jacob quit messing with a lot of girls for the sake of his daughter. He didn't want Kelsiee to see him as a manwhore.

Asia quit college and started dating a rich guy that was just like her father. His name was Andrew. He was a Caucasian guy with dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and smelled liked weed half the time. Asia became a housewife living in Beverly Hills with Andrew and his rich friends. She stopped talking to all her family members except for her father.

Calvin was released out of jail two weeks ago. The court felt like he didn't do too much , so he only stayed in jail for 3 years. He just wasn't allowed to be near Kelsiee AT ALL. When he got of jail, he had no friends. Everyone was scared to step near him after they heard what he did to Kelsiee.

Jasmine just disappeared after Kayla's graduation. Uncle Lenny was told she moved back overseas by one of his sisters.

After Uncle Lenny and Charity was married for a year, they rushed into making a baby because they both really wanted one. 2 months after their first year anniversary , Charity became pregnant. As 2 months turned into 7 months slowly, Charity gave birth to a baby girl. Haley Marie Carter is her name. She came out to be 6lbs 2oz. Uncle Lenny and Charity reside in Hollywood, CA. Now Haley is two years old and isn't much of a fluent speaker as Kelsiee was, but she was perfect to them.
