Chapter 13: Spring Break Part 2

Kayla woke up feeling Nick's warm body against her as he was holding her around the waist. Kayla just felt so loved because she's never been touched all over by boys like this. It just was the best feeling to know that Nick was there to protect her. Kayla turned towards Nick and stared at how he was sleeping. She then kissed his lips softly as he opened his eyes slowly smiling at her.

"Good morning baby." Nick chuckled as he kissed her.

"Good morning." Kayla smiled as she traced his caramel toned abs with her finger. "Your body is amazing."

Nick chuckled as he threw on his shirt. "Thanks. Your body is far from amazing." Nick smiled brightly.

"Wow thanks. I've never been commented on my body before." Kayla lifted up a little.

As Kayla finished speaking , her stomach began to growl loudly. Nick informed her that breakfast was being served downstairs , so they decided to go wash up and approach the breakfast line. As they arrived, Nick spotted his family and lead Kayla to them.

"Ahh morning you two." Kim smiled. "Glad you could join us."

"Good morning mom." Nick pulled the chair out for Kayla. "Dad." Nick nodded as his father glanced at him.

"Good morning." Kayla smiled brightly. "I'm going to go get breakfast."

"No need Kayla. The breakfast will come to us." Kim said in proper manner.

"Okayy."

5 minutes later, two waitresses brought over plates of well cooked breakfast. The plates were covered with pancakes,eggs, bacon, and toast. Another waitress brought the orange juice for each of them.

"Enjoy your meal." The three waitresses said in unison.

"Thanks."

"So Kayla are you liking this cruise?" Ariana giggled.

"Yes it's really nice." Kayla started to eat. "I just wanted to say thank you for inviting me on this cruise."

"You're so welcome." Kim said in an excited tone. "We knew you would be able to keep Nick company." Nick  looked down as Kayla giggled.

"Well you two can be cute all you want for now." Devin said in a dark manner. "Because after this trip and graduation, you two won't be together anymore." Devin grimaced.

"Devin." Kim said in an appalled tone. "That's not nice."

"I don't care. Nick isn't staying here , so he can father her kid." Devin barked. "I want him to explore the other side like me."

"But, dad I'm not like you." Nick took a sip of juice.

"I know that. We made a deal that you didn't have to go to the military. You could do that photography stuff in Germany. School is free there." Devin snarled.

"I know. I'm not gonna fuss with you because I know I'm going." Nick shook his head and continued eating.

"Sooo you're leaving immediately after graduation?" Kayla asked in an odd tone.

"No the day after graduation." Devin smiled evilly. "You could come say your last goodbyes on that day."

Kayla took another bite of her bacon and looked down. Nick was still leaving her, so they had to make the best of the time they had together. Devin seemed like a controller just like Kayla's father and Kim seemed like she followed all of Devin's orders. Kayla adored Nick and his father just didn't want him to be happy. After Kayla finished eating, she excused herself to proceed to the room. Nick shook his head at Devin and followed behind her. As Kayla arrived to the room, she lied down on the bed.
