Years Later....

Kayla was now a millionaire after putting two more books out, making several artistic products(including colored pencils, watercolor paints, paintbrushes, pencils, pens , and many more) under the name Kaytastic. She also opened several art studios in other states. With Kayla's money, she bought Uncle Lenny, Calvin, and Asia a new house in California. Kayla and Nick were living perfectly in their comfortable for several years. Nick became the CEO of Campbell's Photography Business. It was a place where clients learned how to take pictures and also were able to make money off their sold pictures. So Kayla wasn't the only one that was making the money in the family. Christian and Danielle were now 9. Kelsiee was now 18 and was entering college in the fall with Julissa ,18. Kelsiee was going to school to follow her mother's footsteps to be an artist. She's been drawing ever since she was younger. Kayla commended Kelsiee for drawing almost better than her. Kelsiee passed high school with a 3.7.

Kelsiee statures to be 5'8. She was a brown skin girl with natural light brown curly hair hanging down her back. Kelsiee grew up to enjoy wearing makeup, but not too much. She had a nice petite figure just like Asia had when she was younger.

Kelsiee's father Jacob was still dating the same woman Melissa. They didn't talk about getting married or having a baby. It just seemed like they were together. Kelsiee began to grow apart from her father because she just wasn't feeling the same connection they had when she was younger. And of course, she never liked Melissa in the first place. Jacob just thought Kelsiee was entirely too grown for him to bother with anymore.

Calvin had gotten married to Amiah because he fell in love with her personality. Amiah was gorgeous to him. He began to give her everything she desired because she absolutely deserved it. Amiah, not only had a closer relationship with Calvin ; but she began to have a relationship with Asia and Kayla. She couldn't be married with Calvin and not bond well with his daughters.

Asia quit dating and just focused on herself and her son Jeremiah,11. Asia resided in Hollywood, California. She also became a modeling teacher. To qualify to be a modeling teacher, she had to go back to college for modeling. Asia had only knew the basics and that wasn't good enough for her agency.

Uncle Lenny and Charity resided in Hollywood, California as well. They lived happily with their daughter Haley who was now 11. Charity and Uncle Lenny were also expecting another baby in seven months.

Dominique and Aaron's relationship grew even stronger through the years. Anaya, 9 and Julissa,18 were the joy of their lives. They enjoyed watching them grow. Dominique stopped modeling and just began to be housewife, so she could spend time with her youngest daughter and help her with school. Aaron became the biggest producer in New York. He stepped out of just producing younger artist. The artist he worked with varied from youngest to oldest. Julissa was going to college for cosmetology. She liked to do hair and nails. Julissa passed high school with a 4.0.

Devon became seperate from Aaron once again because Aaron thought he was better than everybody else. Devon and Michelle eventually got marrried and moved to Washington, DC because Devon was offered a new job there. Also their daughter Laila was accepted in a new private school. Michelle stopped dancing after she twisted her ankle once. She was afraid to ever dance again even though, Devon encouraged her to continue to dance.

One day, Kayla had received some mail out of her mailbox. Five of the letters were bills and one of them was letter from her mother Jasmine. She hasn't seen her since her graduation. Although, Kayla just wanted to throw the letter in the trash without reading, Nick convinced her that it might be important. Kayla opened the envelope and took out the letter to read. It read:

Dear Kayla,

I'm not dead okay? I wanted to tell you that I've read your book and it hurts my heart that I left you with your father in the early days. You went through many things without me being there. You had boy problems, family problems, married, two pregnancies, and probably more things without me being there. I had no idea how much damage he was going to do to you. I'm sorry. Also I want to tell you why I haven't came back over to the US. It's not safe over there and I love London a lot. I don't wanna see your father or your sister. I miss seeing you, but I just don't feel it's right for me to come to the US again. Too many bad memories. It's very pleasant in West London. I eloped with a guy named Quentin two years ago. We adopted a baby girl that I just received.  She's gorgeous and her name's Tiara Latoya Jenkins. I love her. Since you're probably making your new beginning, I wanted to make mines too. I know I'm probably a deadbeat mother, but I just wanted you to know my whereabouts. If you ever get a chance or want anything to do with me, come visit me in London. I would love to also skype with you, so I could see my grandchildren. I love you Kayla, even if you hate my guts.

Love your mother,

Jasmine.

"Well atleast she told you what's up with her Kay." Nick took a seat on the creamy white couch.

"Yeah, you're right. But all these years, she picked now to talk to me?" Kayla's eyes began to fill up water as if it was an ocean.

"Aww baby, come here." Nick said in a sincere tone as Kayla walked over to him sluggishly. "I agree with you, but I'm happy she acknowledged your existence. She must be miss you and she probably just found an address to talk to you. Be happy she's talking to you. My parents haven't talked to me since we got married."

"Really?" Kayla wiped her tears swiftly.

"Yeah. I would be happy if they talked to me, but I guess they want nothing to do with me. It seems like your whole family is trying to communicate better with you. From your father to your sister and that's very sweet of them because they don't have to." Nick held Kayla softly to his chest as she softly continued crying.

"I guess I need to forgive my mother like I forgave Asia and my father." Kayla sat up from Nick's chest and wiped the rest of her tears away.

"Exactly. If Jesus forgives you for making mistakes, then you should forgive others too." Nick nodded.

"Aw yeah I'm so glad I have you." Kayla smiled lightly and hugged Nick tightly.

"Hey mom and dad, I'm about to go to the store. Do you need anything?" Kelsiee asked as she jingled her keys.

"No, but I do need to talk to you." Kayla patted a seat on the couch for her.

"Okay."

"You remember two years ago, you asked where is my mom at?" Kelsiee nodded quickly. "Well she's in London and she won't come back over here because it's too many bad memories here. In order to see her, you can skype or visit her." Kayla nodded.

"Ohhh. Why has grandma been away for so long?" Kelsiee asked curiously as she kept her eyes on her unoccupied phone.

"She's been damaged by your grandpa mentally and physically to the point she's scared of him." Kayla held back her tears.

"Well maybe one day I'll talk to her." Kelsiee nodded and stood up. "May I be excused now?"

"Sure." Kayla smiled and nodded.

Finally Kayla knows where her mother is. Although it hurts her that her mother was never in her life, Kayla learned how to be a better mother than she ever was because of this scenario. She has to now start a new relationship with her mother through emails and video chats until she can visit her.

Ah an epilogue for you guys. If I needed to cover anything else, then drop a comment down below. Finally you know where Kayla's mother is and why she refuses to come back :) I'm done with this story.
