Chapter 12: What Am I Living For?

BEFORE YOU READ CHAPTER 12 READ CHAPTER 11! Sorry it got mixed up! Its after chapter 18! Alexis's POV:

I grabbed Adam tighter and moved closer to him, because Saulis text is really scaring me. It read:

"Alexis- This is your last chance to leave. I know about the dream you had. I was there. And that will really happen to you if you don't go NOW."

"Hey Adam.. I really am scared of Sauli. I think we should stay away from each other."

"Alex it's okay. I am here for you. I love you and nothing is going to change that. I will protect you. No matter what."

"But Adam I don't care if I get hurt. I only care about your safety. I don't want YOU hurt."

"Alex I will be alright. Trust me."

"How can You be so sure?"

"Because I know.. Okay?"

"Whatever."

"Adam.. I'm sorry I have to go.." I choked out.

"Alex.. I won't let you leave. Sauli is too dangerous."

"Exactly. If I leave now he won't hurt you.. Or me."

"I am not taking any chances. Your staying here."

"No. I am leaving." After I said that I got up from Adams couch and ran for the door. Adam quickly followed me, running. I unlocked the door and ran out heading anywhere. I stopped for a second to catch my breath and before I knew it a strong force picked me up from behind, covered my mouth, and dragged me away. I was screaming and crying, trying to get away. I knew Sauli had got me. He was dragging away to death. I was going to die.

But then I realized It was Adam. He brought me back inside and locked the door.

"Oh my God! I thought you were Sauli!" I screamed out.

"Noo babe your okay. It's me. But your not leaving. Ok?"

"Alright fine. But can we go to bed now? I'm exhausted."

"Yeah. I'll meet you up there."

I walked upstairs to get ready for bed and realized Sauli could be waiting for me.. Like last time. So I ran back downstairs and called Adams name. He didn't answer.

"Adam! Adam! Where are you?!"

"Alexis! Are you ok?!" I heard Adam running this way. He ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Yeah I'm fine but I just didn't want to be up there by myself.. Since Sauli was up there last time.."

"Oh okay.. Well c'mon you can follow me. I was just putting some of my clothes in the dryer."

"Okay.. "

Adam quickly put his clothes in the dryer and walked back upstairs with me. We were holding hands. Its funny how a little over a week ago I was telling you how much I wanted Adam and now I have him. Right after I thought that I started smiling. Adam looked at me and asked "Whats the cute smile for?"

"I'm just really happy to have you."

"Awww baby I am happy to have you too."

We got upstairs and climbed into bed. I turned to face Adam and I gave him a quick kiss. After I pulled away Adam leaned back in. When we kissed it felt like electricity. Like we were made for each other. It was amazing. After a few minutes of smooching, I rolled back over and scooted closer to Adam, spooning with him. We told each other goodnight and quickly fell asleep.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up to Adam playing with my hair. I turned my head and smiled at him.
