Chapter 23: I Want You to Stay

Adams POV:

I woke up to Alex sleeping like an angel, in my arms. I couldn't help but smile at her. She was so cute, so perfect, and she is all mine.

"Good morning gorgeous." I whispered to her.

"Hi baby.."

"So I was thinking since we never got to go to the studio, would you like to go today?"

"I'd love too!" Alex cheered. She jumped out of bed, climbing over me, trying to pick out an outfit for today. I started laughing, because Alex never realized she didn't have clothes on. She was getting all excited, but then she heard me laughing and she stopped to look at herself.

"Ooh Gee, Adam..Thank you for letting me know this now." Alex said with sarcasm.

"Oh your welcome." I winked.

We got to the studio and Alex never seemed happier. I can tell she has been waiting for this day for a while.

Almost running into the building, Alex looked back at me and said, "Come on, Slowpoke!!"

"I'm coming!" I replied, walking a bit faster.

We both entered the studio and shut the door, so we could have privacy.

"So you like it here?" I asked.

"Like? More like Love!" Alex said, looking around in amazement.

"Why dont you go in there and record something?"

"Alrightt...what song shall I sing?"

"Hmmm... I don't know..what do you wanna sing?"

"How about fever?" Alexis asked with a smirk on her face.

"Sounds good."

Alex walked in and put on the headset. I began to play the track of fever.

"There he goes my baby walks so slow, SEXUAL tic-tac-toe, yeah I know we both know it isn't timeee, but would you be m-mine?"

She sounded AMAZING. I had no idea she had such a lovely voice..It was honestly beautiful.

"Oh baby, lets go since your moms not home I'm sick of laying down alone,with this fever, fever, yeah. My one and own, I wanna get you alone, with this fever, fever, yea!"

After Alex was finished, she took off the headset. "How was I?!"

"Alex you were outstanding! ! I had no idea you could sing like that! Do you know what this calls for?! A duet!"

"I have the perfect song we could sing. ."Stay."

"Oh I love that song!!"

"Yay! Alright lets start!"

The track began to play and Alex and I put on our headsets. She sang the first verse, I sang the second verse, and we joined together for the bridge and chorus.

"All along it was a fever....---"

The first line she sang gave me the chills. I got lost in her voice. It was beyond gorgeous.

I then joined in for the chorus, "Not really sure how to feel about it. Something in the way you moved, makes me feel like I can't live without you, and it takes me all the way. I want you to Stay."

By the end of the song, we were holding hands and looking right into each others eyes. We couldnt have sounded better together.

Shortly after we were finsihed singing, Alex leant over and began to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she put hers on my neck.

"I love you."

"I love you too baby."
