Chapter 8: Mistakes

Alexis's POV:

Ugh I wanted to stay in Adams arms forever.. I felt like a spark between us, ya know? I've waited 13 years for this an I'm not just gonna let it slip by.. Even with Sauli in the way. ..Oh poor Zach.. He has no idea of everything going on....Ughh... Gosh imma call him now.. To see what's going on today.

"Ring, Ring.."

"Hello?"

"Hey Zach.. What are we doing today?"

"Whatever you want babe."

'Babe?' Him Calling me that makes me wish it was Adam..

"Ummm How about a movie?"

"Sounds good! What movie should we see?"

"Umm I want to watch something funny, so how about Grown Ups 2?"

"Works for me! I'll come and pick you up!"

"Ok.. But I'm driving home right now so hang on a sec."

"Where we're you?"

"Adams house.."

"Why were you over there so early in the morning?"

"I umm spent the night at his house.."

"What? Seriously? Are you kidding me?!"

"Yeah I'm serious.. Adam needed someone to talk to and I was there for him.. Calm down Zach! Adam is gay! You know that! Plus, he's getting married soon! So chill out!"

"Ok.. I know I'm sorry.."

"It's okay..Just pick me up around 2.."

"Alright. Bye."

"Bye."

As I walked in my house, I smelt something.. It smelt sooo good.. Like heaven had a scent and it was in my home. Oh my gosh! Adam must be here! That is exactly what his cologne smells like!!

"Adam...? Adam?! Helloooo?"

"It's not Adam.." a voice said, that I've heard 1,000 times.

"Sauli? What are you doing here?!"

"Nope.. It's not Sauli."

"Zach?!"

"Good guess."

"What are you doing here?! I thought you were picking me up at 2?!"

"Well before we go to the movies I just wanted to tell you I love you.. And I wanna take the next step in our relationship.."

"Wait.. What do you mean?" I asked

After I said that Zach walked closer and started making out with me.. Grabbing my hips, trying to take my shirt off..

"Zach.. Stop... I'm not ready for this.."

"Alexis, it's okay."

"Noo.. No its not! Stop!"

"C'mon, baby."

"NO.. Get out of my house now! We're over!"

"You know what? Your gonna regret this! You really will!" Zach said this, then he pushed me to the ground, then walked out, slamming my door.

Oh my god.. Did that really just happen? I mean you would think I wouldn't care since I love Adam.. But really truly I liked Zach a lot.. He was a great guy, really.. I would never think he would do anything like that.. But I guess he has changed.. All I could do is sit right where he pushed me and cry. I was curled up in a ball, next to my couch, crying. So hard. I would have never expected this from Zach.. Ugh God my life sucks.. It really does. I mean I have no friends..(except for Adam), I now have no boyfriend, no parents...Ughh I promised myself a long time ago I wouldn't do this but, I just have too.. I need something to look forward too.. So I went in my room went under my bed and grabbed my box of weed. I went outside in my backyard and started to smoke it.. It was such a good release.. I should have done this a long time ago.. My life felt a lot better at that moment. Even though it wasn't. It was worse. As I was about to start my second roll, I heard someone walk outside. It was Adam.

"Alexis?? Is that you?"

"Uhhh Hi... What are you doing here?"

"I came to check on you, since you weren't answering my calls. What are you doing?! Alexis you promised.. I get really worried about you when you start this.. And you promised you would stop.."

"Adam, wait! You don't know what--"

"Save it. I'm going home."
