Chapter 13: Were Stuck

Alex's POV:

"What am I living for?" I asked Adam.

Adam started crying. "I-I should have been there for you."

"No No no Adam please. You didn't know. It's not your fault."

"From now on I am not leaving alone for one second. Now that Sauli and Zach are both out there."

"Why don't you just let me die? It would be easier for everyone."

"Alex.. How could you say that? I could never.."

"But think about.. You wouldn't have to watch me 24/7 and I wouldn't always get hurt.."

"This may seem bad now, but your life won't be forever like this. You gotta hang on. It will get better. I promise."

"What If It doesn't?"

"It will."

About 5 minutes later we arrives at the hospital. Adam had put me in the back seat so I could lay down. Now he has to help me out because it hurts like hell to get up on my own.

"Here I gottcha." Adam lifted me up, one arm under my legs and the other under my back. He took me in the hospital and asked if we could see a doctor right away. They took us down the hall and into room 315. The docker asked us what was wrong and Adam lifted up my shirt and showed the doctor my ribs. Even he gasped.

"Ok go ahead and lay here Down here."

Adam laid me down on a comfy little bed and the doctor asked me to take off my shirt so he could check the wound. Adam was about to when I grabbed his arm. "It's okay. He needs to look at it."

The doctor then walked over and asked if he could apply pressure to it. I nodded and he pushed his cold hands on my bruise. I let out a whimper and he stopped.

"It looks like she got beat up pretty bad. May I ask what happened?"

"She actually did get beat up by her ex-boyfriend."

"Oh... So I am guessing you are her current boyfriend?"

"Uhhhhh yess."

"Okay well I'm going to need you to sign some papers and we will have her x-rayed and ready to go."

"Alright." Adam replied.

"May I suggest you sit outside?"

"Ummm Sur--"

"NO. Please let him stay." I begged.

"Okay. Just have a seat over there Mr. Lambert."

"Ok."

"Aright Miss Robertson, I'm gonna put this blue gown on you. We are gonna take the X-ray now. Are you ready."

"Mhmm." I said.

Once we finished with that, he looked at the X-Rays and sighed.

"It's looks like you have two broken ribs. There isn't really anything we can further do for you. Just take it easy."

"Ok thank you." Adam said. He then picked me up and we walked to the car. He put me in the backseat and shut the door.

"You okay back there?" Adam said starting the car.

"Yeah. Thank you Adam."

"Anytime."

He turned on the radio to my favorite band Nirvana. He was so sweet.

"Do you need to go anywhere before we go home?"

"No I'm good."

Home? That is so cute. It's like we live together. I mean we kinda do.. I mean we will now. Since we can't be apart.

"Actually could we stop by my house so I can get stuff?"

"Mhm. Whatever you want."

We stopped at my house and Adam came around and opened the door for me, picking me up. I could walk myself, by it was so cute when Adam carried me.

He took me upstairs, still carrying me. I'm surprised he didn't fall. Haha.

We went into my room and he put me down. I picked out a bunch of clothes and threw them in a bag. I put some accessories in there too.

"Alright I am ready."

"Ok let's go." Adam said about to pick me up.

"Let me try Walking on my own. I'll be okay."

"Okay."

I walked downstairs and out to the car with Adam by my side. I got in and sat in the front. I let out a small cry when I sat down, but I was okay.

"I'm guessing we are stuck together now." I joked.

"I guess we are." He played back.
