Great battle of stuffings

Saturday the 3rd of April 1645

The war was stupid. Everyone knew that the stuffing in the world was running out, everyone knew that the stuffing was needed for two stuffed animals to create a baby stuffed animal. However, the problem was never sorted. The last bits of stuffing belonged to stuffland. stussia had ran out and wanted to build their population. That's how the war began. Private Penguin Pelicos or as he liked to be called, Pelicos. It was shorter and therefore easier to shout it he was in trouble. He was in a group with 3 other privates. A polar bear named Johnson, A turtle named speedy. I know ironic and lastly a spider named Kayley. All 4 of the privates were listening to orders given to them by a Commander. A monkey named Mario.  

Pelicos and his group were posted to guard Whitehall harbour to the southwest of the country. The part closest to Stussia. The boats wouldn't be a problem for the group as they had almost any rocket launcher you could think off sitting right next to them on boxes. What they didn't count on was the Stussians using submarines and stealth helicopters. Whitehall soon became a huge battle, from the peaceful place it once use to be. Pelicos had the job of pushing to the radio tower with Speedy. Following the orders of Mario their Commander of course.  The first half of their journey was pretty easy, they were inside buildings almost 90% of the time. The second part was completely different. They had to run across a field. While the stealth helicopters were lurking about. They reached the start of a field without having to shoot a single bullet. Pelicos was tired, carrying a stela through the thousands of houses they seemed to run through. Even thought they only ran through 4. Speedy went first to try and draw out the helicopters so that Pelicos, who was waiting in cover, could shoot them down without them seeing him. Their plan worked. Sadly a little too well. Speedy had only been running for 1 minute if that when 2 stealth choppers flew into sight. Pelicos had even more pressure on him than he had originally. In their plan he only had to hit one. Now he had to shoot one, reload and shoot the other, if he missed one shot he had just killed his comrade. He only had 2 rockets with him. The first shot was perfect clipping the blades of the top causing the helicopter to drop to the ground rapidly. The second helicopter noticed its ally fall to the ground so instantly started shooting at speedy. Pelicos rapidly tried to reload quickly however his eagerness caused him to screw up and drop his rocket. He looked up to see the helicopter fire rockets down towards the ground. He then grabbed the rocket and placed it into the stela's barrel then aimed it at the helicopter. Again a perfect shot downing the helicopter like he planned. The he ran towards he comrade hoping he was still alive. As he was running he noticed something on the ground. Then his run became a jog, then a fast walk to a normal walk before he dropped to his knees and began crying. He crawled to his downed comrade and friend. Hugging his friend he heard a gun cock. He looked up and saw Stussian soldier pointing a pistol to his head. Filled with anger and demanding revenge he said "You killed him didn't you" The Stussian soldier nodded with a smug look on his face. Pelicos replied "Your gonna wish you never said that." Then he suddenly stood up and smashed the Stussian soldiers arm causing him to drop his gun. He then rugby (football) tackled him and started continuously punching the soldier in the face. He didn't stop until the soldier had stopped breathing.

Then pelicos moved towards the radio tower to complete his mission. The rest of his journey was like the first. Mostly inside and there was no Stussian land troops so he was safe also. He eventually reached the radio towers door and kicked it open. After checking the whole tower, he discovered it was empty. The rest of his mission was easy, contact his headquarters and tell them everything. Once he did that he began to head back to his team. However, some Stussian soldiers had landed on Whitehall and were checking buildings in Pelicos area. He wasn't aware of this until it was to late he walked out of the radio tower without looking both ways. Then a stussian soldier saw him and shot him in the leg. Pelicos fell over and quickly tried pulling his pistol out. The soldier ran over and turned him onto his back. Pelicos punched him in the face grabbed his gun and shot him in the face. Pelicos couldn't move, he had no radio, he had nothing except his gun.

Sadly Pelicos was confirmed to be killed in action at 0700 hours on Sunday the 4th of April. Nobody actually knows how long he sat there bleeding out. However his family were rewarded for his bravery and Stuffland eventually defeated Stussia in the war and more stuffing was discover in mines found in Stuffzia the stuffing was then shared all around the world.
