Corporal Snake Sam

Snake revolution 

Monday 12th of July 1998

Land snake squad 139 

The snakes were all great friends, at one point. They use to share their supplies, at one point. They use to look after each other, until that one night which destroyed the relationship of the snakes. The water snakes leader ordered for all water snakes to stop bonding with the land snakes. Then the water snakes stopped sharing supplies. Eventually they declared war on the land snakes. It was an all out snake fest. Corporal Snake Sam was in charge of two other Private snakes. One called Jamie and the other called Matt. They were the only snakes to make it to the enemy's last holdout, it was them or the water snakes leader. One of them had to die and Sam wasn't going down without a fight. As the squad slithered to the main entrance, Sam had a better idea. Why didn't they go in through the back door or maybe a window. Sam decided that one person would go in the front, one it the back and in a window in between both the front and back of the building. Sam left Matt at the front and carried on with Jamie. When they went around the side of the house they noticed the water they were in was charged with an electric current. 

Now your probably wondering how a land snake squad is at a house that belongs to the water snakes. Well the Water snake leader happens to live in a house that is half underwater. Luckily for the land snakes they can explore half of the house without needing to use their air seal masks, which allow them to breathe underwater.

They would have to go around the other side of the house which meant back tracking and wasting even more time. However, when they turned around they saw Matt speed slither around the corner. Hissing he said " There coming. 8 of them" All of the squad cocked their pistols. Then they ran behind i conveniently placed wall and waited. 

Now i bet your thinking how the heck can a snake use a gun, well they put the gun in the mouth and use the their tongue to pull the trigger. Its actually pretty logical if you think about it. Anyway back to the main story.

They waited what seemed like hours. Honestly it was only a minute but they thought it was longer. Sam stuck his head around the wall to see if they had passed them yet. They had. So once again the squad continued moving back to the front of the building. When they got there they once again dropped off Matt then Sam and Jamie continued to the other side to look for a window. When they turned the corner this time their was no water touching electric, there was 2 water snakes at the other side with a huge lmg staring towards Sam and Jamie's direction. It took both of them to use the Huge lmg, one had to shoot while the other one aimed it. Sam thought of a plan. What if someone were to say get shot and shout for help with in reality wouldn't be help at all. They both slithered back to Matt and explained that they wanted to shoot a sniper towards him while he fell to the ground and shouted for help. At first Matt didn't like the idea. So Sam and Jamie once again tried to persuade him. After this Matt once again didn't like the idea. So Sam offered to be the shouter seen as he has more experience in war than both Matt and Jamie. Matt shoot the sniper and then him and Jamie ran to a box to hide. Sam began shouting for help, while pretending he was hurt; and sure enough the water snaked from the lmg came slithering towards him. When they noticed he was land and not water one snake cocked his pistol and said "I'm sorry." The second he had finished Matt capped one of the water snaked, Sam had to react quickly, so he grabbed the downed water snaked pistol and shot the other water snake. Mission complete Sam said over the radio to his comrades. Matt and Jamie slithered back to him and Jamie said "Our mission isn't complete yet" Sam nodded and for the final time he left Matt at the front only this time when they got to the side of the house, he could leave Jamie knowing he was safe there. Now the tricky bit. He had to climb over the lmg nest which was easy, but he needed to put his air mask on otherwise he would suffocate and die in the water. He needed to do this otherwise he would let his squad down, his friends, family but most importantly his race. Putting on his mask he dived down into the water.

He quickly realised his plan would work amazingly. There was nobody guarding the back door either. All he had to do was open the door and slither in blasting the water snakes inside to death, when Matt and Jamie heard him they would do the same, watching out to ensure they didn't kill a friendly of course. BANG. Sam froze on the spot. What just happened BANG. Again, he suddenly felt scared. All his brain was think of was his Squad, were those bangs killing them? There was only one way to find out. He smashed the door open and sure enough the water snakes started dying, Sam had great accuracy and only missed one shot in his clip of 8 bullets. He was behind a table pinned down, hoping Matt of Jamie would come in shooting so he could kill a few more. Again sure enough the front door blasted open and Matt came in shooting his newly acquired assault rifle. Then to Sam's surprise Jamie followed him in with a shotgun to clear out the remaining water snakes. When they were all dead Sam stood up and nodded to his team. BANG. What was that noise? Matt threw Sam his assault rifle. Sam shuck his head and threw it back. "No" he said as he pulled out a desert eagle and cocked it. "This will be good enough." Both Matt and Jamie looked at each other confused. "He is killing his body guards its what snake leaders do when they surrender and know someone is near them." 

Sam turned around and slithered upstairs. Despite the size of the house there was only one room upstairs. Sam opened the door to see 3 dead body guards on the ground and a water snake looking out of a window facing the land. "Well done" Said the water snake "Im Ian. Im the leader of the Water snakes." "Do what you must."Ian turned around and faced Sam. Sam pointed his gun at Ian and said "Why, why do all this for nothing." Ian giggled and replied "Well, honestly, I hate your disgusting race." Sam nodded then finished the war for good. He pulled the trigger of his gun and watched as the bullet soared across the room and hit Ian right between his eyes. 

The war was over and Sam was a hero in both land and water snakes books, the water snakes had no problem with the land snakes, only their leader did. However, both the water and land snakes population had dropped dramatically this meant that Sam would be returning to and empty house, his brother killed gathering the intel he used to find the water snake leader, and his wife. Well she ended the relationship and married a commander just after the war. Sam was happy though. He was thane of the land snake leader, this meant he lived in a mansion, got free everything and most importantly, in the next war he would be protecting his own leader no matter what, even if it meant he got shot for the surrender, he would die. Die proud of his life!
