Kit was there not stood there but down on one knee holding a ring out to me an engagement ring! I mean this is a bit soon in the relationship isn't it although on the flip side I have known him for years and he is my best friend as well as everything else!

"Eva Jane Grey will you do me the honour of becoming my wife." he spoke as if I was the only other person in the world, he spoke like my father was not watching eagle eyed.

I was shocked obviously and was aware that I had not spoken for a while I tried to speak but I couldnt form words, then luckily my feelings for him took over and I said " yes, yes of course I will yes " and by that time I was basically shrieking with happiness and excitement. I jumped into his arms and we were the only people in the whole world for a long while we were kissing, my arms around neck his hands on my back, my legs in the air, him supporting my weight.

I love him so much. And he loves me and we will be married my father can not do anything about it if he does I will renounce the crown I don't care I LOVE KIT, I LOVE HIM, I LOVE HIM, I LOVE HIM.

" what happens now? " I said still on a high. Then my father said

" Kit goes home, then he comes for lunch tomorrow, where we tell your mother and Kit's mother and brother. We start arranging the wedding sorting out what you want whether you want media there all that kind of thing and then your coronation," and then as an after thought he added " after the wedding of course."

I knew my father was not being supportive because he liked Kit or out of love for me but because as soon as I'm married I can become queen if I am not married I can't become queen ever. He hates being king he always has, now he doesn't have to. Does he.
