" Thanks" I said still laughing from Jasons little out burst.

" What, did you think we would forget your biRthday?" said Jason.

" no but I knew that YOU would " I said giggling.

" yeah your right he did " said Kit.

" mum Jason can I have to minutes alone to give Eva her birthday present?"

" yeah sure" said Kits mum.

" okay but don't get into any midfield okay " said Jason mock parenting.

" oh ha ha " said Kit. ( obviously their mum had already left when Jason said that. ).

" so whats my prezzie?" I said childishly. he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small red velvet box, he handed it to me. I opened it slowly carefully and inside was a necklace it had two stones in it in the shape of a ying and yang sighn. A diamond ( his birth stone ) and an opal ( my birth stone )

" wow " I breathed." wow" I repeated.

" do you like it?"

" yeah of course I do it's amazing wow"

" and do you only use the word wow now? Come here let me put it on."

" why do you want to where it Kit is there something you want to tell me?" I said cheekily.

" shut up and turn round birthday girl."

" okay " I turned round for him to latch the necklace and when he had finished I span round grabbed him around the neck and pushed him onto the bed " oh so thats how it is,is it ? " he said lifting me off the bed and pulling me into a fire mans lift, me still in my purple spotty pyjamas.

I screamed as he ran down the stairs and through me onto the sofa. Giggling I leaned back and he flopped down beside me. He sprang up and there gasping was Jason. Kit had been sat on his brother right up until he had been pushed off. We laughed and laughed until Kits mum walked in and asked what we were laughing at, all I could do was point from Kit To Jason and back which was more than they could do.

I was happy then until I remembered my father and the terrible things he did.

the terrible things I think he will do to get me back away from Kit.
