Last time I saw you (Panem high school)

Chapter 1- Mom

Katniss's POV

"Mom you never care for us anymore ever since dad died! I am leaving and taking Prim with me! Prim go pack you bags."

"Okay!" She says.

"Fine do whatever you want Katniss I do not care!" My mom says. She then drives off to go to work.

"Prim are you done packing?"

"Yep Katniss."

"Okay come on let's go. I am going to drive us to Cloves house in district 1 and we are going to stay there." Clove is a cousin of ours and we are really close. Also all of my friends live there with her. Clove, Cato, Marvel, Glimmer, Finnick, Annie and Peeta. It was about a four hour dive but then we finally arrive. Me and Prim go up to Clove's door and knock. "KATNISS! GUYS IT'S KATNISS!" "Hey Clove!" I am guessing the whole group is here. We walk in and everyone gives me and Prim hugs but then I see Peeta and I give him the biggest hug. We were best friends ever since we were five.

"Wow Katniss you look very different in a good way! Last time I saw you we were 12! I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too Peeta!"

We then sit down and I tell them what happened while Prim goes upstairs and sleeps. Then they say who is dating each other:

Clove and Cato

Marvel and Glimmer

Finnick and Annie

Peeta is not dating anyone though. Good!!! I think. Wait what? Do I like him? No I do not. I think in my head. We then keep talking for a little bit. "Guys it is late you better get going." Clove says. "Oh Katniss my parents got you a place and you do not have to pay. It is right there."She points across the street and the house is huge. "Thank you so much Clove!" "No problem Katniss. You also live next to Peeta!" "Cool!" I go wake up Prim and we go to our new house. We put away all of our clothes and fall asleep.

Tonight I have a nightmare about losing Prim. "Katniss I am right here." Prim says as she runs in. "Thank you little duck!" "Sure thing Katniss. Goodnight." She then walks back to her room. I fall back sleep. It is morning and I wake up to my phone buzzing like crazy.

Clove🔪💗: Sleep Over at my house tonight starting at 6:00!

Cato💪: Can't wait!

Glimmer💁:YASS

Annie👠: Awesome!

Finnick🐟: Count me in!

Marvel🚶: See ya there!

Peeta💛: I will be there!

I am the last one to reply of course.

Me: Ya meet you guys there!

I then get up and take a shower, get dressed and eat breakfast with Prim. Me and Prim just eat in silence and I do not mind. I go upstairs to bedroom after I am done with breakfast and my phone gets a text:

Peeta💛: Can I give you a ride to Clove's?

Me: Yeah sure. What time will you pick me up?

Peeta💛: 5:45?

Me: Sure! I will see you then.

Peeta💛:😉👍

"Katniss?" I hear Prim say.

"Yeah?"

"Can we go get ice cream now?"

"Sure!"

It is around 11:00 in the morning. A little early to have ice cream but who cares. We go into the ice cream shop and get ice cream and we stay there to eat it. Then a girl comes up to Prim.

"Hi! I am Rue. What is your name?"

"Prim."

Then Rue and Prim keep talking and taking along with laughs on the way. Then we leave the ice cream store. We get home at 1:00. Then Prim goes up to her room and she stats texting someone. I sit down to watch TV. I fell asleep then because I woke up to Prim shaking me. "Katniss can I go ice to Rue's house for a sleepover?" "Yeah sure little duck. What time is it right now?" "4:20."

I then run upstairs pack my bags for Cloves. I call Clove right away when I open my closet to fret a bathing suit. "Clove why are there all bikinis here?" I say as soon as she picks the phone up.

"Because you always were ones that cover your stomach and I think the guys would think you are really cute!"

"I do not want too."

"Well then have fun swimming in your clothes then!"

"Fine. Bye."

"Bye Katniss!"

I then put on the bathing suit. It is a bikini that is blue, green, white and black. I do not really like it but all of the bathing suits are bikinis. Over that I put on shorts and a tang top. When I am walking down the stairs Peeta rings the doorbell. Perfect timing I think.

"Hey Peeta! Can we drop off Prim at her friends house?"

"Yeah of course!"

"Okay thank you so much Peeta. Prim let's go!"

Prim comes down the stairs with her bags. We get into Peeta's car and Prim tells Peeta Rue's address. I walk Prim up to the door say hi to her mom and give Prim a hug. "See you tomorrow little duck!" "Okay. Have fun Katniss!" I walk back to Peeta's car and get in. He just ask how things had been lately. Me and Peeta get there 5 minutes late. When we ring the doorbell everyone is already there.

" Truth or Dare!" Finnick screams. Uh oh I think to myself.
