Katniss's POV
"Katniss are all of those scars on your stomach from you?" Peeta managed to say while sobbing.
"Well umm the fresh one is from me and all the other ones are from the car accident. I am so sorry Peeta. You deserve someone better then me. I am broken. Face it Peeta." I say.
Peeta lifts his head up and his face is red all of the sudden and he stopped sobbing. "What did you just say?" He says through gritted teeth trying to stay calm.
"Well face it I am a broken girl, so go find a better girl then me." I say while looking at Peeta in the eyes.
Peeta hands turn to fists. He is starting to scare me now. "Katniss is never ever say that about yourself. I love you more then anything in the world. I love you more then life itself. You are beautiful, kind, smart, brave and very courageous." Peeta says locking red with me. He then pulls me into a hug for a while and then when we break apart we kiss each other. It is a nice soft soothing kiss and I feel fire perks going off in my stomach. Then Peeta and I both pull away at the same time.
"Let's head to the gym, okay?" He asks me making sure that I am okay with that. I bid my head in response. I start opening the stall when Peeta interrupts my by putting my shirt in my face. I forgot that I had no shirt on but I had my bra on! That must have been very awkward for him. I pull the shirt over my head and I grab Peeta's hand and we walk to gym. When we open the door clay runs over to us and gives us a hug.
"Hey you okay?" Clay asks.
"Yeah I am fine.... Thanks to Peeta." I say giving Peeta a little squeeze ok his hand because we are still holding hands.
"Okay good." Clay says to me. Clay then turns his head and mumbles something to Peeta so I cannot hear. I still wonder why Peeta likes me though.
Peeta's POV
Clay turns his head to me and mumbles me something so Katniss cannot hear.
"Thank you Peeta. I do not know what she would do without you." Clay says to me and then he gives me a hug. Katniss hair stares at us with a curious look on her face probably wondering what Clay said to me.
"Well since it is free time in gym, what would you guys like to do?" I say asking Katniss and Clay.
"ARCHERY!" Katniss shouts to me and Clay. Me and Clay just chuckle. Typical Katniss.
Katniss runs over to the archery station and Clay and I follow her. She grabs a bow and then on her first shot it lands on the middle of the target. She is the greatest archery shooter ever. Clay and I decide to sit down and watch her.
She is beautiful.
She is strong.
She is my girlfriend.
My girlfriend.
Not Gales.
Not anybody else's girlfriend.
My girlfriend.
I think while watching her keep hitting the target over and over again. The bell rings meaning gym is over. The girls head to their locker room while us boys head the opposite direction to the boys locker room.
*time skip to lunch*
I walk over to the lunch table meeting everyone in the group, excepts Katniss. I wonder if she is okay.
"Guys were is Katniss?" I asked panicked.
"I thought you knew Peeta!" Clay says.
Then Clay and I dash out of the lunchroom and I say Katniss shoved up against the locker by Gale. Gale is kissing her and Katniss is trying to get out of his grip but he is too strong for her. I get closer and I see that Katniss's shirt is off along with her bra and her jeans are unbuttoned and Gale is unzipping them, while kissing her. Gale is raping her. Clay and I both pull Gale off of her and start beating him up. "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!" Clay and I scream at the same time. After that he runs off without a word.
Clay and I then turn our attention to Katniss. She is standing there sobbing. She is still shirtless and her jeans are unbuttoned. She runs up to Clay and hugs him still shirtless and everything. She then notices me and her face is completely red. I cover my eyes.
"Peeta it's okay. I am not co terabyte with people seeing me but you saved me." She said while I was still covering my eyes.
"Katniss no. Put your bra and shirt back on and zip up your pants and buttons them. I respect that. Everyone deserves privacy." I say back with my eyes still covers.
"Thank you." She says.
About 2 minutes later Katniss tells me I can look. I bc over my eyes and she is still sobbing. Me and Clay walk with her in between us into to lunchroom towards the group. When we get there everyone gasps at Katniss who is sobbing really hard.
Katniss's POV
When I get to the group everyone gasps. I walk over to Annie. When I came here to visit in the summer only Annie knew. Everyone else did not know I can here. I came here to spend a month with Annie. She was always the most easiest to talk to. Well when I visited there I started dating Gale. At first he was sweet but then one day he raped me. Before he could do 'it' Annie walked in and kicked him out of the house. No one knows this except Annie. I sit down next to Annie still sobbing.
"Can I tell them?" Peeta asks.
I nod my head in response.
"Gale was raping Katniss. He had her shirt off and took her bra off. Her jeans were unbuttoned and he stared unzipping them." Peeta says starting to cry.
Annie hugged me and gasped the loudest.
"Again?" Annie asked me and everyone heard.
