Chapter 20- Leaving

*ATTIENTION!! I put Gale is in the group in the last chapter and he IS NOT!! Gale is Katniss's bully!!!!******

Katniss's POV

"In fact I am wearing them right now." Marvel says. Marvel out of nowhere hair stands up and take of his pants and sure enough he was right. He was wearing Thomas choo- choo train boxers. He seemed very proud of himself. The whole group ended up bursting out in laughter.

After a minute the group settles down and Marvel out his pants back on. We decided to end the game because it was getting really boring. I put on my shirt and pants because the game is over. I stand up and walk into the kitchen and look at the time. It is 10:00 pm.

It is time to leave.

I have been thinking about leaving to go to back to district 12 for my dad's death and that is what I am gonna do. I do Jo really plan on coming back but no one knows about this. I grab my suitcases while everybody is who knows where and I put them in my car. I walk back into the house and I see them.

"Hey guys I am gonna go to the bathroom. But before I do can I have a group hug?" I ask. I ask because I may not see them for a while and I do not plan on telling them that I am leaving right now.

"Okay." They respond and we do a group hug.

I then pull Clay into our won little hug.

"Clay I love you very much  and you are the best cousin I have ever had on the entire earth." I tell him.

I then let go and leave him standing there.

I walk over to Peeta.

I pull Peeta into the kitchen.

Peeta looks very confused.

"Peeta I love you with all of my heart. I will always love you no matter what I do. I love you." I say and I kiss him. I then walk out of the kitchen leaving Peeta standing there very cub fused and I go to the bathroom.

I bring a pencil in with a piece of paper and write the note telling them that I am gone. And I love them. I also add in I love you always Peeta. I then put the note on the kitchen counter and then I leave. I drive over to Rue's house to get Prim.

Knock knock

"Hey Katniss." Rye says.

"Hey Rue. I am here to get Prim. Did she tell you everything?" I ask her. I also forgot to met ion that I told Prim.

"She did Katniss but your secret is perfectly safe with me." She say smiling.

"Thank you Rue."

"Sure anytime Katniss."

Then Prim and Rue say their goodbyes and Prim and I get in the car and we head to district 12.

Peeta's POV

Katniss has been in the bathroom for a hour now.

"Hey guys lets go check in Katniss." I say to the group.

"Okay sounds good. She has been in the bathroom for a awful lot of time." Clay says.

Th whole for up gets up from the couch and we go through the kitchen to et to the bathroom. I spot a note in the kitchen counter and I run up to it. I then open it and the group huddles around me. I start reading out loud.

Dear guys,

I left. As you all know now my fathers death day is in a couple of hours because it will be tomorrow soon.

I am going back home. I am driving home to district 12 where it all started. I am bringing Prim with me because my mom has custody over her so now she owns Prim. I do not know where I live but I will be in district 12.

I love all of you guys and I never wanted to leave you guys. Every single one of you brought happiness to my life.

Clove keep throwing you knifes. It will help you out in life. You were always a great cousin and thank you for everything you have done for me.

Cato, keep taking care of Clove. She needs you in her life. And just keep doing whatever you do because you are great at it.

Glimmer you will always be my number one fashion girl. Keep designing and making clothes, it will get you far in a life and one day maybe you can create a business of your own.

Annie you were always like a sister to me. You always cared and you were always there when I needed you. I could always talk to you about whatever and keep being who you are and don't let anyone boss you around or tell you what to do. You are your own person and be proud of who you are.

Finnick my fishboy. You will take care of Annie and if you don't you will have to sleep with one eye open at night. Make sure to stay funny, keep throwing your trident and never ever stop eating sugar cubes no matter what. Even if your teeth start falling out. It make you, you.

Marvel you take care of Glimmer and make sure she does not get to carried away with glitter. Keeps being the boy that you are. Never grow up and still act like a kid. I wish I was a kid again. You have to still act like a kid and promise me never ever to grow up not matter what anyone says to or about you. Keep wearing your Thomas Choo- Choo train boxers too.

Johanna you throw your axes as hard as you want and at whoever/wherever you want. Keep being the strong rebellious girl I knew you are.

Clay, my favorite cousin and my best friend. We have been through so much together. You were always there when I needed you the most. You where here with me for everything. You are my best friend throughout the entire world and you will forever be my favorite cousin. I love you.

Peeta I am so sorry I left you and I hate myself for doing this. You were walkway there for me no matter what and you are always a funny, sweet caring kind of guy and you made me feel like I was needed here in the world. I have so many memories that I will cherish of me and you forever in my heart. Like when you threw me the bread. I never forgot that moment and I never will. You saved me and my family. That was the best day of my life because I met you. Peeta I will most you the most. I left because of my dad and not because of you. Don't you dare blame yourself for this. You are the first boyfriend I had ever had and I am happy about that. You were also my first friend and my first kiss. You mean the world to me. I will miss you tons. I will never forget us. I fold up the letter and I see something laying besides it. I pick it up and it is a necklace. There is a not attached to it.

Peeta here is my promise that I will love you forever. It says always. I have the other half of the necklace so when we put it together it makes a heart.

I am crying so hard. I look around and so is the east of the group. I put the necklace on and I thinks out what I just read.
