chapter 1

I opened my eyes to see the blinding light shine through the window, I checked my phone to see what time it was, 9 am. I jumped out of bed and went downstairs my mum was still asleep I made myself some toast and turned on the tv. my phone buzzed, it was Sean, "hey girl, we have to practice our song in a few, don't be late." I text back "promise i wont be late c u in a few xx." I got up off of the sofa and ran upstairs to get changed. I ended up wearing a long sleeved belly top and a pair of grey patterned jeans. I met Sean outside of our recording studio "hey Amy girl, you made it! on time aswell, lets get recording and send this to your cousin to see what she thinks."

Lacy, my cousins 15th birthday was coming up and she wanted me and Sean to perform her favourite song "hollow" from Tori kelly in two weeks. as we started to record, my phone buzzed, it was mum "Hows recording going?." it was going fine until she interrupted us "who's that?" Sean asked. "its mum she asked how recording was going." "girl you need to learn to turn your phone off before we start recording otherwise were not gonna get anywhere with this and there will be no song at lacy's party." he had a point, i text mum back "cant talk mum i'm sorry but the recording is going great." 1 hour of recording went past and no interruptions occurred, me and Sean listened through the recordings to see which one was best to email to lacy. "Im gonna go home wanna come with?" i asked sean as i grabbed my coat. "sure i need a drink after all of that singing i hope your mum wont mind." "she'll be fine, don't worry about it."

Me and Sean walked through my door to see my mum in the kitchen "hey Sean, u ok? help yourself to a drink." my mum didnt bother to speak to me. "Thanks babe." sean grabbed a drink and we ran upstairs to my room. "i hope lacy likes the recording we sent to her, we spent a whole hour trying to get it right." i sighed as my phone buzzed again, luckily we weren't recording it was lacy "thanks for the recording you and sean are the best, so cant wait for the party!! say thanks to sean for me plz xx." i texted back "will do lace xx." -an hour later- when sean left i got into the bath and sunk into the boiling hot water. after my bath i got into my pjs and went to bed closing my eyes waiting for another busy day tomorrow screaming at the top of my lungs.
