Rylee POV

I made it out alive and so did Ross. We got rushed to the hospital and we were immediately put on oxygen. Three hours later we got discharged from the hospital, I'm really starting to hate that place.

"Babe?" Ross asks laying next to me on the bus.

"Yea." I roll over to him.

"I'm scared." Ross sniffles trying to hold back his tears.

"Why?" I question cupping his cheeks with my hands.

"What if another fire happens we almost lost all the instruments." He notes.

"There won't be another one I promise." I assure him.

"Can you sing?" He whispers quietly nuzzling into my chest.

"Sure." I smile kissing his forehead.

I clear my throat trying to think of a song. When I finally get one I start singing.

"Are you? Are you, coming to the tree?"

"Where they hung up a man they say who murdered three."

"Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be."

"If we met at midnight in the hanging tree."

"Are you? Are you, coming to the tree?"

"Where the dead man called out for his love to flee."

"Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be."

"If we met at midnight in the hanging tree."

"Are you? Are you, coming to the tree?"

"Where I told you to run so we'd both be free."

"Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be."

"If we met at midnight in the hanging tree."

"Are you? Are you, coming to the tree?"

"Wear a necklace of hope side by side with me."

I hum softly feeling myself get drowsy. Looking down I see Ross sleeping holding onto me leaving me smiling.

"Goodnight Ross." I whisper kissing his forehead.

~~~
When I wake up Ross is not there and I hear no sound coming from anywhere on the bus. Getting up I pull on my clothes for the day and put my hair in a messy bun. When I walk into the dining area I see Emma sitting reading a book.
"Hey what's up?" I question sitting next to her.
"Nothing much." She puts her phone away and then quickly pushes up her glasses.
"Where is everyone?" I ask looking around at the empty bus.
"Breakfast." Emma replies shortly.
