Family Before Fame

Chapter 14

Rylee POV 

Ross grabbed my hand as we head out the door with our two kids. Today we get to go to Disney World and Reese is so excited. Raelynn is just to young to really understand, but I promise we will be back to this place when the kids our older. 

"I can't wait to go see Mickey Mouse." Ross smiles brightly down to me. I swear he is a little kid at heart and I don't think that will ever change. To be honest though I don't think I want him to grow up. 

Ross has a hold of Raelynn who is about three weeks old now, but still really small. Anyways Reese is holding onto my hand with the cast until we meet up with Rydel then she will help me keep an eye on him. 

"Well I can't wait to see Minnie Mouse she is my favorite." I tell Ross even though he probably already knew. 

"I like Goofy." Reese speaks up. 

"Oh I like Goofy too." Ross says. 

"Also Rydel and Ellington are going to take our kids to a kids show while we go see the newest scary movie." I remind Ross of our plans that we have for later tonight. 

"I hate scary movies though. Why don't you take Rydel to go see it and I will go with the kids to see the show." Ross whines to me. 

"Because I want to go on a date night with my husband is that a problem?" I shoot a fake glare at him. 

"Hey you two love birds plus the kids." Rydel waves to us from her hotel door. 

"Heyo girly." I smile and wave back. 

"Auntie!" Reese yells and take of running. 

"Reese." Rydel's smile gets bigger and see crouches down to hug Reese.  

I look over at Ross who is staring down at Raelynn which has decided to wake up from her nap. 

"I'll take her." I already know that Raelynn will start crying. 

"No you go ahead and eat pizza in Rydel's room I'll take care of her and then be in." Ross motions for me to go on my way and that he can take care of Raelynn. 

"Just remember that-" I get cut off by Raelynn who starts crying. 

"Don't worry I got her." Ross tells me over all the noise before he turns around and walks off with Raelynn. 

I walk into the hotel room where the whole family is there already eating pizza. Stormie has Reese sitting on her lap. 

"Hey Rylee." I hear Riker call to me. 

"Fuck off." I whisper below my breath I'm still mad at him for hurting me. Ross doesn't know though and we should keep it that way. 

"Woah ok sorry." Riker mumbles and then walks away quickly. 

"Mama." I look over at my son who is holding out his arms to me. 

"Hey buddy." I wave and smile at him. He is my whole world besides my little Raelynn and my grown up child Ross. 

Flashback 

"I can't wait to take you home with me." I talk to the little blue bundle in my arms. 

"Sweetie what's his name?" My mother asks me. 

"Reese." I confirm myself. "Reese Alexander Lynch." 

Reese lets out a little cry at his new name. I know there is no way I can ever stop loving this little boy. 

Flashback End

I always look back at that moment when I look at my son. 

"Rylee?" Ryland snaps in my face. 

"What's up Ry Ry?" I snap out of my train of thought.

"Oh nothing just wanted to talk to a girl because my brothers aren't gonna help me." Ryland chuckles at his own words. 

"Well what about your sis." I point over to her sister who is eating pizza and talking to her boyfriend. 

"Yea but she can't help me." Ryland frowns. "Not for this case anyways." 

"Ok do you want us to talk in private?" I question him. 

"Can we please." Ryland looks down at his feet. 

I tell everyone that we will be right back. When we get outside the room I hear a sniffle from Ryland. 

"What's wrong Ryland?" I sigh at him. 

"I did what Ross did." He confesses, but I guess I'm not picking up what he is saying. 

"What do you mean?" I question. 

Ryland collapses back against the wall behind him. His tear streaked face looks up at the ceiling, all I do is stand here and watch him breakdown. I not good at handling people crying, besides my kids. 

"I got a girl pregnant." Ryland blurts out. 

"WHAT?!?!" I choke on my spit. "Ryland Micheal Lynch, what were you thinking?" 

"I know I know." Ryland holds up his hands at me. "But since you know that happened to you I thought you might be able to help." 

"No I didn't get a girl pregnant I would definitely ask Ross because he would be your best luck for advice." I tell him. 

"Please don't tell anyone yet." Ryland begs me. 

"I promise I won't." I lock pinkys with him. "I just have one have question." 

"Shoot." 

"Who is the girl?" I ask him. 

"It's one of my best gal friends. One day we were hanging out and got caught up in the moment I guess. She called my crying the day of your wedding and said she was pregnant." 

"Oh Ryland so you have known for a couple weeks?" I already know this answer.

"Yea I just didn't want to tell anyone." Ryland admits. 

"Well if you ever need help with practice call me." I assure him. 

"I will trust me." Ryland gives a dry chuckle. 

His tears have seemed to cease and well that's good for sure. 

"Can we go back inside now?" Ryland wonders. 

"Oh, of course." I give a little giggle. 

We crack jokes on the way back and laugh. When we get back we go stumbling through the door, everyone stares at us like were drunk. 

"Thank you." Ryland whispers in my ear before stalking off to go and get pizza. 

I stand near the door and see Rydel holding Raelynn. Ross comes over to me with a big grin on his face. 

"Guess what." Ross whispers in my ear. 

"What?" I whisper back. 

"Were free." Ross looks me in the eye with a perfect smile on his face.

"What do you mean?" Ross whatcha meaning by free. 

"No more Sarah. No more of this pain. She is gone." Ross chuckles like he can't believe it himself. 

"Oh wow." I fake smile. 

"I'm gonna go tell Ryland the good news." Ross says. He kisses my forehead and then stalks off over to Ryland. 

He leaves with a smile on his face and I leave with an empty chest.
