Rylee POV

"So I decided not to do that show because I'm to busy right now." I hear Ross on the phone in our living room. He told me he needs privacy to talk, but really I'm sitting on the top of the stairs listening.

"Maybe you can find one for later on." Ross makes a suggestion to Alex, his manager.

"No..um..yes I completely understand sir." I can hear Ross being stressed out from here.

"Look Alex I have tour coming soon." Ross says through gritted teeth.

Reese comes out of his room to sit next to me.

"I'll call you back." Ross yells I to the phone. I hear a click indicating that he hung up.

I quickly pick up Reese and take him back into his room so he thinks I wasn't spying on him. Reese pulls out his coloring book and shows me his drawing.

I start thinking this boy has developed faster than most babies. He was able to speak, walk, and do things before many babies typically do. Maybe we should get him tested.

"Rylee, dear!" Ross calls put to me.

"Reese's room." I call back to him.
He peeks around the door. Ross has Raelynn in his arms.

"I'm done talking on the phone." Ross announces to us. "And we have dinner tonight."

"What? With which family?" I know dinners with family are never good.

"Both. Your mom wants to see you and so does your little sister." Ross points out.

To be honest I haven't seen them in like a few weeks because last I saw them was when I had a big fight with Ross. I think I missed Rae's sixth birthday. Oh my gosh I feel terrible.

"I'm such a horrible sister." I cry looking at Ross who is entertaining Reese and Raelynn.

"What? No your not." Ross looks over at me with wide eyes.

"Yes I am I missed my sister sixth birthday." I point out.

"Well when we see her tonight we can bring her a gift." Ross suggests.

"Yea can we?" I smile.

~~~
When we get there I'm immediately greeted by my mom and sister.
"Baby I've missed you." My mom hugs me tightly.
"I've missed you both." I hug back and then hug my sister.
"Sissy is that Raelynn?" She points to the baby in Ross' arms.
"Yes it is." I set Reese down and grab Raelynn from Ross.
I lean down to her level and show her.
"Here she is." I take a hold of Raelynn's arm and move it in an up and down motion like she is waving.
"I'm an aunt to two now." Rae gushes.
"Yep you are." Mom grabs a hold of Rae's shoulder with both of her hands.
"Well I'm going to go talk with some others if that's ok?" I ask my mom.
"Oh course, go on." She waves us off.
"I'm going to go put Raelynn to bed since she has already been fed and burped." Ross tells me and takes Raelynn back.
"Ok see you here soon." I wave to him.
Ross leaves and goes up the stairs. I feel hands on my shoulders from behind.
"Hey dear." My grandmother says. Now I haven't seen her in forever.
"Hey Grammy." I turn around to her and hug her.
"My baby has more babies." She shakes her head. "I am a great grandmother to another child." I watch my grandma smile.
"I'm sorry I didn't call you I thought my mom would have." I wonder.
"Oh it's ok I will make sure to go say hi to Reese though." My grandma smiles at me one last time before she leaves to find the blonde little boy.
I look around and don't see my grandpa, I wonder why. I also wonder why were having this dinner.
"Rylee!" Rydel yells from the top of the stairs.
"Rydel!" I laugh and run to her as she attacks me in a hug.
"It's been like two days." Rydel points out. She smiles brightly at me.
"Why are we having this dinner?" I ask her.
"All I know is Ellington wanted to make an announcement and that your mom had an announcement." Rydel shrugs.
"Well I hope there good announcements." I laugh thinking if my mom pops a surprise on me.
"Rydel, Rylee its dinner time." Ross pokes his head out of the kitchen. I guess I didn't see him come downstairs.
"Ok babe be there soon." I wave him off.
"Ready for this crazy dinner?" I ask with a chuckle.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Rydel laughs with me.
~~~

Once the turkey was passed around and everyone prays we dig in. Mark always does a good job making turkey, hamburgers, or my favorite meatballs. Ross is not so good like his dad though.

"Can I have everyone's attention?" I look to see Ellington standing up from his seat next to Rydel.

I look and see everyone stop what there doing and face Ellington. He looks down at Rydel with a smile, now I know what the announcement is and its gonna be a good one.

"So I have called you here because I need to ask an important question to Mark." Ellington then looks at Mark nervously.

"Well what's the problem?" Mark interrogates him.

"I want to ask for the blessing to marry your daughter." Ellington looks scared. He tries to calm himself down, I can see in his eyes he is so scared.

"As long as you take good care of her that's all that matters." Mark nods at Rydel.

Ross reaches under the table to grab my hand. I feel a squeeze knowing it's him.

"Then," Ellington pulls a box out of his pocket and gets down on one knee in front of Rydel. "Rydel Mary Lynch will you do me the honor and marry me?" He looks hopeful.

Rydel has tears forming around her eyes. She turns to look at me, then Stormie, and back at Ellington.

"Yes, of course." She wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him in for a kiss that seals the deal.

I felt a tickle by my ear.

"I knew this whole time." Ross whispers into my ear.

"Why didn't you say anything?" I question turning to look at him. Everyone was too busy congratulating Rydel to notice us talking.

"Ell didn't want me to say anything." He frowns at me.

"It's ok I'm happy that she found her prince. I remember when I found mine." I smile brightly at him.

"I remember when I found my queen who had my prince and princess." Ross smiles back. Were so close that our noses are almost touching.

"Come here." I giggle at him.

He grabs my cheeks and plants his lips on mine with a soft kiss.

"I love you queen."

"I love you to."

Aww they're so adorable I loved writing this ending of the chapter. I'm thinking either seven or seventeen more chapters heck I actually don't know there might be way more than the first book because I still have a lot to go. You might also meet Ryland's girl soon just wait.
