Chapter 11

He just shrugged off Kiba's questions and walked over to me and Shikamaru.

"I was just getting back from viseting someone and heard my name being yelled out. What about you guys, everything good here?"

"Sorry, I had a bad dream and I guess my words leaked out. We are on a mission right now."

He nodded and looked over at Kiba.

"What mission, what is the objective?"

"We are to retrieve an artifact from a base we discovered."

I looked over at Shikamaru. He is usually doing all the talking but for some reason he is staying quiet. Is he more worried about me that the current mission? I know he wanted me to decline it but a bad dream can't be that much to worry about.

"Shikamaru Nara, I'm alright. You don't need to be afraid. It was just a dream that is all."

"It could of been a Genjutsu though, you never know."

I shook my head and smiled.I stood up shaking my head

"Genjutsu messes with the mind and stabalizes it by infection chakra. I can't be put under things like that because I don't have any chakra to infect."

He nodded but still looked at me worridly before talking to Naruto.

"Please I want to know where you are going!"

"If I tell you will you leave us alone?"

He nodded and before Shikamaru was able to stop him Kiba said the location. This is bad, I know Naruto is going to come now with or without permission. Knowing anything about Orochimaru leads Naruto to stop at nothing to help.

"I'm coming then! I want to help!"

His blue eyes looked at all of use but I could tell his mind was on Sasuke. I was told the stories of there friendship and rivalry and how he left the village. He doesn't want to go back though so what are they going to do, lock him up and ship him back? I don't understand but he seems to have devoted his life to finding a way.

"You can't Naruto what would the Hokage think?"

"I don't care about what she thinks I want to help you guys! If I go then I will be step closer to Sasuke. Please let me help you, there I can find information."

The arguing continued for a bit before I fianlly got fed up with there bickering.

"Naruto Uzumaki you'r not coming with us."

Everyone looked over at me with suprise, expecially Naruto. There is this harsh tone in my voice but it isn't Aku, it's me. Am I really becoming this angry person who yells every so often? You're not use to being by people, only for a few minutes at a time when passing through villages. We are usually alone and living away from human contact. We are not use to this kind of behavior. That does make sense but what do I do? Just follow your heart.

"You can't come with us, it's to dangerous for you if you come."

The aggression in my voice deminished but my words still made him stiffen. I don't know if I can get this message through but it is worth a try.

"If you come with us, then you'll die."

"That's worth the risk, and if you are sure that s what will happen if I get Sasuke back then so be it."

He spoke with such ease, like this was nothing. But it's not!

"How can you say that!"

Naruto turned to me with this look of, curage? He had one hand in a fist and he was smiling.
