Chapter 17

I am right now helping Temari with gathering the snacks and such for our special night. My duty for the Chunin exams got cut short so I get half the day off. From what I heard, practically everyone is going to the hotel. Girls in Temari room and boys in Gaara. This should be fun, I hope

"Ahari? Can you set up the rest of the nail polish? Everyone should be here any minute."

I nodded and finished laying out the various colors of paint. Just then one by one everyone came in. We greeated everyone and I just stood there. It looks like she invited ever single person who graduated from the academy here! That is alot of people. Not only that but the boys as well.

I left for a minute when the Hokage summoned me. I walked in and bowed my head.

"You summoned me Lady Hokage?"

"Yes, I was just wanting to ask you of something. I am taking you off of the Chunin Exam's mission and putting you on a different one. Since you are not really needed and the Kazkage asked you of this I am going to have you make sure that the sand siblings stay here is nice."

I nodded and after a small talk with her I walked back to the hotel. Once I got inside I saw everyone in there pajama's so I deiced to change. I walked into Temari's room changing. I came out wearing a silky blue dress that comes down to my knees. The edges of the dress have white lacing around it, same with the end of the sleeves.

"So what did I miss?"

I sat in the circle they were in right next to Sakura and Hinata. They smiled but before they could say anything Ino started talking. Loudly at that.

"Well he just talked for a bit, actually we were just going to play spin the bottle!"

Spin the bottle, never heard of this kind of game before. I am guessing that it dealswith spinning a bottle but other then that I don't know the game. Just smile and pretend you knoe the game. It is where you sit i a circle and you go in order spinning the bottle and whoever the top of the bottle is pointing at has to kiss the person who spun the bottle. What if it lands on yourself, or someone of the same gender? Spin it again, and the same gender, pray you don't have to.

I watched as my brother spun the bottle and my eyes widened as it slowly stopped, right, on, Hinata. I looked over to her and I saw her face turning a tomato red. She looked down and I could see Naruto slowly inching towards her. Before Hinata noticed he pecked her on the lips and laughed as she fainted. The one I tohught was the funniest is when Sakura landed on Ino. It was actually pretty funny, although I really hope I don't get a girl.

I got landed on twice now, once by Gaara and the other was with Shikamaru. This was during the very beggining though, and most of the time I have been dozing off. I was about to close my eyes but right before I did, I saw the bottle land right infront of me. I looked up to see Kankuro looking at at me with this, smirk. Oh no, not him. Why him out of all the people? Fate is a bitch you know, just do it.

I leaned my hand on the ground and pushed myself forward since he is on the opposite of the circle. He leaned forward to and right when my lips touched his and I was about to pull away but he put a hand on my back and pulled me closer. My eyes widened and I pulled away gasping for a breath. Kankuro, well he is jsut smirking, not noticing the glare he is getting from Gaara and Shikamaru both.

I sat down and a few minutes later it is finally my turn to spin. I am the last peron, everyon already spun and we have been playing for aqbout how long now? Thirty minutes maybe. I flicked my wrist and watched as the little glass bottle started to spin. I don't really care about what is going on or who it lands on. I heard everyone make this sound of excitment and I looked up a little to see who the bottle landed on. Thank MoonWalker it is a boy. Choji looked up with a 'hidden' blush' and I smiled.
