"Hey, Sky," he said.
"Hay is for horses," I told him.
"Ever the smartass, I see."
"No fricken dur. We're at school, idiot."
"I didn't notice. So this is the place that I was supposed to go to every single day."
"Oh, so you have skipped every single class?"
"Yep," he said as I took the last seat in the room. That stupid seat.
"So, what's up with this being the last seat?"
"What?"
"This was the only seat left."
"Would you sit by me anyways?"
I didn't really think about that. Would I? I didn't know if I would. That was one question I didn't ask myself. "Maybe."
"That's not really an answer," he pointed out.
"Like I really give a shit."
Just then, the math teacher walking in. "Everyone get out your books! It's going to be a long morning!"
Everyone grunted, including me. I honestly hate math. It's the worst class on the face of the fucking earth.
What felt was hours, was only fifty minutes, the bell rang and saved my life.
I tried to get out of the room as fast as I could before he would talk to me. But, life wasn't on my side.
"What class do you have next?" Zander asked me before I got out
"What?"
"I asked what class you have next."
"German."
"Good."
"Why? Should I be worried?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Maybe." He shrugged, still following me.
I just ignored it, hoping he would go to his class. Everyone was staring at us. Literally everyone. I was getting the death glare from many, if not all, of the girls and got these weird smirks from the guys.
Something that never really happened to me. I just wanted to go back to S8 and eat ice cream and not go home. That's basically what I do almost everyday, anyways.
"Ignore them," Zander whispered to me.
"No fucking shit, Sherlock."
"Wow. Sassy today, aren't we?"
"Always."
I went into the classroom when we got there. And to not my fucking surprise, Zander sat right next to me. Again.
"It this going to be like every class?" I asked him.
"Looks like it," he told me, turning around for me to see a ear to ear grin on his face. I just knew that this day would be the worst.
What felt like eternity, was only three more classes, it was lunch. Finally. This would be the one thing that I would be alone too. That would be unless Mattie, David, and Andrew didn't have any lunch plans. But, knowing them, the would have the rest of our high school year booked with plans. Well, everyone but David. But, his lunches consisted of trying to pick up girls, only to fail miserably. I think he has tried every single single girl here.
I got in line to get my lunch. Today was a meatball surprise or pizza. I chose the meatball surprise. Why not add some more surprises in my life?
"Nice choice," I heard Zander tell me. What the fucking hell! He has not left me alone all day. Though it was nice, not being alone and all, but, it gets fucking annoying.
"I honestly don't give a flying fuck if it was a good or bad choice. Food is something that should be a surprise, like life." With that I bought my food and went to an empty table. Knowing that him and his gang would go and sit by me.
And that was basically how my fucking life went for the rest of the day. God I hate school.
