"And the Queen is going to make dinner," I said. Making dinner gives me an excuse for snooping around in their kitchen. "And the King will play with princess Jenna," said pointedly at Zander. He raised his hands up in surrender as Jenna poured him more imaginary tea.

Before they could say anything else, I went into their kitchen to start cooking. The advantage they get for having me here, is that I know all of the diner's recipes. Perps of being a fill-in cook.

I looked in every cabinet to see what they have and where. Once that I done I grab everything I would need for the diner's Wisconsin-German Italian Pasta. That one was my all time favorite, and I know Zander must like it by how many times he gets it when he goes to the diner. Plus, if Jenna is anything like Zander, she will love it too.

When I was putting the noodles in the boiling pot of water, I felt a tug at my t-shirt. Once the noodles were safely in the pot with no explosion, I looked down and saw Jenna. She had her head raised high like she wanted to be picked up. So, I picked Jenna up.

"What's up?" I asked her.

"The ceiling," she replied, making me smile.

"You got that right, young princess."

"What are you making?"

"A surprise."

"I bet it will be yummy," she said, patting her stomach.

"Sure is, kiddo."

"Are you and Zandy dating?" She asked. Gosh, I wounded how this kid knows so much. Well, I guess you have to factor in that she lives with only Zander.

"No, Hun, no," I told her, shaking my head as I walked to the counter to prep the sauce.

"You two should be. Zandy seems very happy."

"Why?"

"I don't know. Free!" She shouted the last part. Then she start squirming. I bend down and dropped her off to the floor.

I saw her run up to Zander who must have came over to get Jenna.

-------Time Skip!!!------------

"That was awesome!" Zander said once he put his fork down on him empty plate.

"Way better than what Zandy cooks," Jenna said. I smiled at that as Zander started to pout.

"Poor Jenna. How did you ever survive?" I asked playfully.

"I don't know," she replied.

"Time for bed, Jen," Zander said to Jenna as he stood up. "Say good night to Sky."

"Night, Sky!" Jenna said and giggled. Probably because it sounded like she said night sky.

"Good night, Jenna," I returned as I watch Zander take Jenna to her room. I took the plates at up them in the dishwasher. Tonight was a success.
