It took almost forever to get to Zander's house. Or should I say apartment. So, it's just and ok one. Not crappy or shitty, and also not fabulous. It's one of those that's just fine.
Zander unlocked the front door. "And, this is the place," he said, not looking at me, but walked inside. I wonder what he would do if he realized that I was gone.
Deciding not to do that, I walked in. "Parents?" I asked.
"None," he replied as he opened the refrigerator door. Not pushing my luck by asking, I started to wonder around his apartment.
I went and softly put my duffle bag down by the door before I went all snoopy.
I walked down the hallway, and opened the first door to my right. I opened it, and was greeted with a pink room. There was a little bed that looked like it belonged to a little girl. I'd say a girl about five or six. There was a big white unicorn on the bed.
The girl's bed sheets were pink. The blanket was of all the Disney princesses, but not of the newer ones. I could see posters on Cinderella and Bell over the bed. Across the room was a pink dresser with some photos on it.
I walked towards the dresser to look at the photo. I gently took the frame from the dresser, afraid of braking it.
I saw a picture of a little girl, about four, sitting on Zander's shoulders. She has brown hair up to her shoulders. She had light green eyes that light up the room from her pure joy. Zander's eyes were just the same as he carried her, and wore a big grin on his face. He looked like he was the happiest person in the world. More than I have ever seen him.
"Jenna," I heard Zander say from behind me, causing me to jump.
I looked up at him. Realization flashed in his eyes. "I have to go pick her up. Will you be ok for a few minutes?" He asked me.
Not being able to speak, I just nodded my head. I put the frame down and walked out of the room with Zander.
"I moved your bags down the hall to the out side of your room. You can do whatever, so yeah. Just don't burn the house down, will ya'?" Zander told me before he closed and locked the door behind him as he left.
Taking what Zander said, I walked down the hall until I was at a door where my bags were in front of.
I walked in, my breath being taken away at the sight before me.
A/N: I know it's been a while and it's short, but I hope you like it! Now, it might take a while for anyone to know what was behind that door. It will be a while until I update again. Just don't kill me!
